She’s In: Former WWE And Impact Wrestling Star Makes Surprise AEW Debut

She’s in. There are a lot of talented wrestlers in the world today and several of them are able to be seen on national television on a regular basis. It can mean a lot for someone to get their chance on a bigger stage and occasionally that is exactly what you get to see. It was the case again this week, as a former WWE star made their official AEW debut with a target already in sight. Valkyrie is a former NXT star, where she wrestled under the name Frankie Monet, as well as a former Knockouts Champion. They’re done. Tag teams have a strange history in WWE as they often feel like they are put together for the sake of being split up. This can cause some rather abrupt endings for teams, as they seemingly go from happy to split in a matter of days. Something similar has happened again in NXT as a team that only started having troubles a few weeks ago have now split up. We saw a more serious one this week at the end of a television show, and now it could be going in a variety of directions. There are all kinds of injuries, but there are also various ways to write someone off television with those injuries. We saw a bit of a unique one earlier this week as an NXT star was taken off television, but things might not have been what they seemed. Wendy Choo was written off NXT TV earlier this week, having been attacked in the parking lot. There is no word on who attacked Choo or how long she is expected to be out of action. According to F4WOnline.com, Choo is out of action with a legitimate injury, though she is not expected to be out of action for very long. Choo last wrestled on the February 16 edition of Main Event. In addition to that though, we have a cage match between Bayley and Becky Lynch which should be a heck of a showdown. That should be enough but Cody Rhodes will be somewhere as well. Let’s get to it.
