William Regal Finalizing A Deal To Return To WWE

Welcome home. According to reports from PWInsider and Wrestling News, William Regal is finalizing a deal to officially return to WWE in the new year. This is after previous reports surfaced that he was officially done with AEW and that he will not renew his contract when it expires this month. Regal has being in AEW since March of this year, when he debuted at their Revolution pay-per-view. He has primarily been associated with the Blackpool Combat Club since this time with the company; however, he allied himself with MJF at the recent Full Gear pay-per-view. Regal provided MJF with some brass knuckles, which he used to defeat Jon Moxley, and become the new AEW world heavyweight champion. However, on this past week’s episode of dynamite, MJF would turn on Regal, knocking him out with those same brass knuckles and effectively writing him off of television. Maybe just a visit? There has been a lot more crossover between the three WWE rosters in recent months and it has offered several new opportunities for the stars. They are now allowed to work with different people and get a fresh place to go, at least for a little while. Now we are going to be seeing it again, with a pair of stars making cameos on another roster. This week on NXT, a pair of announcements were made, saying that Cora Jade would appear on Monday Night Raw and Roxanne Perez will appear on SmackDown. In addition, the two will pick each other’s opponents, from the same main rosters respectively, for a match on next week’s NXT. RUMOR: Kevin Dunn Most Likely Done In WWE

According to a report from Cageside Seats, Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics said on Busted Open Radio that longtime WWE producer Kevin Dunn will most likely be finished with the company. This comes after the announcement that Vince McMahon was retiring and on his way out of WWE. Thurston said that he has heard that Dunn and new Co-CEO Stephanie McMahon “don’t like each other,” while Wade Keller of PWTorch states that Dunn is not a “Triple H guy.” Keller thinks that Dunn will be out “about a year from now.” Dunn has been employed by WWE for almost 40 years and has grown from Associate Producer to Executive Producer & Chief, Global Television Distribution.
