“The Assassin” Joey Hamilton Passes Away At Age 82
We have some sad news to report today as “The Assassin” Joey Hamilton has passed away at the age of 82. From WWE.com: Following in the footsteps of his brother Larry “The Missouri Mauler,” Hamilton transitioned from amateur boxing and broke into the world of wrestling in the 1950s. By 1958, The Hamilton Brothers had risen up the ranks of the New York based Capitol Wrestling and battled Antonino Rocca and Miguel Pérez in the main event at Madison Square Garden. Just 19 years old at the time, Jody became the youngest grappler to ever co-main event at The World’s Most Famous Arena. Hamilton would go on to team with Tom Renesto to form the masked duo The Assassins and drew sellout crowds throughout the southeastern United States. The tandem became a force in Georgia Championship Wrestling and held the NWA Georgia Tag Team Titles a record-breaking 12 times. <p>Jericho welcomes <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/bo-dallas" title="Bo Dallas">Bo Dallas</a></strong> to the show.</p><p>Dallas informs that this is his first podcast appearance and the first time fans will hear him talk out of character, so he’s a little concerned with how people with react to how <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/crazy/" title="crazy">crazy</a></strong> he is. Jericho says he and Dallas bonded on a bus ride during a recent European tour, and he realized that they had a lot of things in common. Dallas says those long <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/trips/" title="trips">trips</a></strong> to Europe are often when people bond with each other.</p><p></p><p>Dallas says the blind refusal of facts is what really bothers him about various conspiracy theories. The minute you talk about any conspiracy theories, people automatically think you’re crazy and ignore everything you say. People are led by mainstream beliefs and anything outside of that norm is simply wrong, despite how many facts there are to support these theories.</p><p>He says that one big conspiracy that he believes in is the ‘Hollow Earth’ theory. This theory states that the Earth is hollow and there is a race of people living there. He says that while scientists claim the centre of the Earth is all molten lava, we’ve never dug to a depth that can prove this.</p>

Kenny Omega Defending the IWGP US Championship at ROH Event?

Just days after this momentous victory, it is being reported by Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer that The Cleaner’s first defence might take <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/place/" title="place">place</a></strong> at Ring of Honor.</p><p>Meltzer also predicted that the first one to challenge the Cleaner for the championship should be none other than the Aerial Assassin, Will Ospreay.
