He’s not a fan. There are all kinds of wrestlers on the WWE roster today and it can be difficult to find something for all of them to do. What matters the most is finding the wrestler who will get the strongest response from the fans, which can be easier said than done. WWE seems to have picked a wrestler, but now a certain legend is not seeing things the same way. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Changes WrestleMania Plans, Possible New Main Event Over the last few weeks, Johnny Gargano has been helping Edge in his battles against the Judgment Day. In addition, Gargano is set for a match against Grayson Waller at NXT Stand & Deliver over WrestleMania weekend. However, during a recent edition of Keepin’ It 100, Konnan asked if there was anyone more over-pushed than Gargano. Konnan asked if Gargano had ever lost a match and said “Bro, he’s not over. Listen to the crowd.” Gargano teamed with Dexter Lumis in a loss to Judgment Day this week on Monday Night Raw. Gargano has b..
That’s one way to go. With so many talented wrestlers in WWE, it can be difficult to find something for everyone to do. This can make for some strange and often annoying stretches where a wrestler is not around as often as they could be for one reason or another. Now we know something about where a missing star is and why he has been gone for so long. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: A Rare Breed: Rhea Ripley Reveals Special Privilege WWE Grants Her During a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer was asked about the status of Roderick Strong. While Strong has not been used by WWE since October, he is still under contract with the company and has not been released. Instead, WWE is simply not using him at the moment. It is not clear what caused them to go in this direction or when Strong might wrestle again. Strong can be a star. He would be a big one. WrestleMania 39 is next month and that means it is going to be time for the biggest stars in wrestling to come together for the most important event of the year. WWE has a history of having those names put together one a major card and they are doing it again, though one of the biggest names ever will not be included. Now we know a bit more about why. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: It’s On: Hell In A Cell Match Set For WrestleMania 39 WWE has attempted to get Steve Austin to return for another match at WrestleMania 39 but was turned down. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Austin was pitched a match with Brock Lesnar but turned it down due to the money offered. In addition, according to Fightful Select, Austin was asked about a match with Roman Reigns, but never got back to WWE about the offer. A new report from Fightful Select says that Austin was pitched other matches for WrestleMania, including one with LA Knight. There is no word on Austin’s response to any of ..
It’s an interesting choice. It had been previously reported that Rey Mysterio will be given the ultimate honor within WWE, and become a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, Class of 2023. But who will be the one to induct Mysterio? According to a report from Dave Meltzer, former WCW superstar Konnan will do the honors of bringing Mysterio into the Hall of Fame. From Wrestling News: Konnan was the most obvious choice because they have been close for decades, dating back to Rey and Konnan’s early days in the wrestling business. This might be Konnan’s first appearance at a major WWE event. Konnan wrestled briefly as Max Moon on non-televised matches in 1992 but those matches never aired and he left the company before the character debuted on TV with Paul Diamond playing the role. Konnan will be inducting Rey into the Hall of Fame. Rey asked for him and the company approved it. As noted last night, to me it was the only choice. — Dave Meltzer (@davemeltzerWON) March 11, 2023 Editor’s Opin..

Smackdown Date: March 10, 2023 Location: PPG Paints Arena, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Commentators: Michael Cole, Wade Barrett We are just over three weeks away from Wrestlemania and the biggest development coming into this show was Jey Uso rejoining the Bloodline by taking out Sami Zayn. We open with a recap of Jey rejoining his brother Jimmy on Smackdown. Cody Rhodes made the save to tie it into the World Title situation. The Usos arrive and are greeted by Paul Heyman. As the Bloodline turns. The Bloodline Saga has dominated WWE for the better part of two years now but some cracks are starting to show. The team has been having one issue after another, often involving questions about the members’ loyalties to the group. After such issues, the Bloodline needs some wins, and that took place this week, with a major issue being resolved. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: They’re On: Three More Matches, Including Title Match, Set For WrestleMania 39 Jey Uso walked out on the Bloodline at the Royal Rumble based on the team ejecting Sami Zayn. Following the match, Jey hugged Zayn before turning on him and rejoining forces with Jimmy, seemingly ending the question of Jey’s loyalty. It was a big moment. Check out the turn, ..
They aren’t done yet. WWE has a lot of television time in any given week and they often fill it with a good deal of action. That is the best way to advance storylines, but there is often more stuff that needs to be done after the show is over. You will occasionally see something take place after the show is over, which was the case this week as the violence continued after Monday Night Raw. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: What Could Have Been: Here Are WWE’s Original (And Different) John Cena WrestleMania Plans WWE has posted a video to its YouTube page showing Piper Niven attacking Candice LeRae after Monday Night Raw. That would have been different. One of the most complicated aspects of wrestling is to make sure that the most important material is used at the right time. A promotion has to build things up over time and then pay it off when everything is ready. WWE is no exception, and now we know that they hit the brakes instead of letting someone make a special return. That’s a different way to go. Late last year, Bray Wyatt returned to WWE television after a year and a half absence. Since then, he has developed a still somewhat confusing relationship with a masked man named Uncle Howdy and defeated LA Knight in a match at the Royal Rumble. That still feels like a warmup for Wyatt, and now we might have an idea of where he is going next. NXT LVL Up Date: February 10, 2023 Location: Capitol Wrestling Center, Orlando, Florida Commentators: Byron Saxton, Blake Howard So somehow, we’re coming off what was an actually entertaining episode last week. If they can keep up that energy this week, it should be another breeze of the show. What makes it more confusing is that it shouldn’t be hard to send in another middle of the road star to boost things up a bit. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. We meet new commentator Blake Howard. Tank Ledger vs. Kale Dixon They trade wristlocks to start until Ledger takes him down with an armbar. An armdrag sets up another armbar and a World’s Strongest Slam gives Ledger two. Dixon manages to send him into the corner though and a neckbreaker gets two. Ledger fights out of a chinlock and a cartwheel into a splash gets another near fall. The running powerslam finishes Dixon at 4:59. Result: Tank Ledger b. Kale Dixon – Running powerslam (4:59) Axiom isn’t sure how to deal with a masked man..
This is only a rumor, so take it for what it’s worth. A former WWE champion, who has been injured for quite some time, may be returning to the ring before WrestleMania 39. He’s in. The broadcast team is one of the most important parts of any wrestling company. The people calling the show are tasked with guiding the fans on the path that the company wants them to take, which can be rather complicated at times. WWE has quite the cast of commentators but every now and then they shake it up a bit. That is the situation again as a new voice is around. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: She’s Back: Former Champion Makes Surprise Return On SmackDown According to Fightful Select, WWE has hired Blake Chadwick to become part of its commentary team. He won’t be around. There are all kinds of reasons for a wrestler to miss time from television and some of them are a bit more serious than others.
