D’Oh! How A WWE Star’s Entrance Once Broke An Elderly Fan’s Glasses

That’s a unique situation. Wrestling is a very visual medium and it takes a lot to find a way to stand out. One of the best ways is to do something that is either very unique or strikingly visual, and in some cases a wrestler does both at once. That is the case with a current Monday Night Raw star, but one time his unique look and entrance went a bit too far. During an appearance on the OutKick 360 podcast, WWE star Riddle told a story of a time where his entrance broke an elderly woman’s glasses. Riddle was wrestling in NXT at the time and did his signature entrance of jumping in the air and kicking off his flip flops. However, one of the shoes went straight through the ropes rather than over and hit the woman in the face, breaking her glasses. Riddle apologized to the woman and gave her the flip flops, plus made sure to take the match outside in front of her to try and make up for the accident. Opinion: This is one of those unique situations that you do not see happen very often an..

LOOK: Former WWE World Champion In Horrible Car Wreck

That could have been worse. There are a lot of wrestlers in the world today and a lot of them wrestle on shows of different levels. You are only going to have heard of so many wrestlers out there, but a good many of them might have made an impact wrestling elsewhere at one point or another. One such former WWE star had some bad news recently, but it could have been much worse. Former WWE Universal Champion Adam Scherr, better known as Braun Strowman, revealed that he was involved in a car accident earlier this week. The accident resulted in a boat and truck being badly damaged, though Scherr said that everyone walked away from it safe. It is not clear what caused the accident, which incidentally took place on the corner of a road called McMahon Road. Always count your blessings. Trucks and boats can be replaced. Everyone walked away from this ok. Thankful the lord was watching over us. #Blessed pic.twitter.com/s09EgFbrEv — Adam Scherr (@Adamscherr99) July 21, 2022 Opinion: That cou..

It Suits Him: Big E. Getting Special New Role In WWE

It’s something else to do. Back in March, Big E. suffered a broken neck during a botched spot in a match on WWE SmackDown. Big E. has since spent months recovering and likely has several more months before he is close to being ready to returning to the ring, assuming he ever does. While he is still recovering, WWE has something else for him to do for the company. Big E. was interviewed by ESPN and revealed that he will be helping scout talent evaluations at the upcoming tryout camps in Nashville, Tennessee over Summerslam weekend. This will include working with Triple H, who will be helping to run the tryout. This will be Big E.’s first official appearance with WWE since his injury and it is not clear if he will continue in the role after Summerslam weekend. Opinion: That is very good to see as Big E. was injured through a freak accident and could have been in a much worse situation. It is great to see him getting to do something else in WWE, as it might be great for his mental state..

Switch Over: AEW Team Expected To Be Turned Into Babyfaces

Switch them up. With so many wrestlers on the AEW roster, it can be easy for someone to get lost in the shuffle. At some point you need to change things up a bit and there are a variety of ways to do so. One of the easiest is to turn someone from either good to bad or bad to good and that seems to be the plan with two wrestlers. It just might take some time to get there. This week on AEW Dynamite, Anthony Bowens got out of his wheelchair and attempted to help the Gunn Club in a six man tag, only to accidentally cost them the match. After the match, Billy Gunn sided with the Acclaimed over the Gunn Club. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the plan for the story is to turn the Acclaimed into babyfaces, though there is no word on when the turn will take place. Opinion: This is the kind of thing that probably needs to be done, as the Acclaimed have all of the potential in the world once they are allowed to go in that direction. I’m not sure to see how the story goes but it is the rig..

The Other Way: AEW Star Seems To Be A Lot Healthier All Of A Sudden

That’s a good sign. AEW has a rather strong roster with all kinds of stars, but it can deal with the same problem that any other promotion can face. In this case, that problem is injuries, as the company has seen all kinds of wrestlers go on the sidelines due to one medical situation after another. Those wrestlers will heal up though, and that seems to be the case again this week. This week on AEW Dynamite, Max Caster and the Gunn Club teamed up to face Danhausen and FTR in a losing effort. The end of the match saw Anthony Bowens get out of his wheelchair and accidentally hit Austin Gunn with his crutch. This comes after Bowens has been out of action with a knee injury for several months, with the Gunn Club and the Acclaimed joining forces during his absence. There is no word on when Bowens will be returning to the ring. Bowens has not wrestled since May 11. Opinion: I was surprised when Bowens got in the ring and it was nice to see it happening. AEW has had so many injuries over the..
