Update on Nikki & Brie Garcia’s Wrestling Future
It came from the source. It had been previously reported that the Bella Twins were officially leaving WWE for good and had rebranded themselves as Nikki and Brie Garcia. One of the main questions that has risen is the wrestling future, particularly when it comes to AEW. That question was answered today on Instagram Live, where Nikki confirmed that her and her sister would not be going to AEW. One more on the list? We are about a month away from the 2023 Royal Rumble and that means it is time to start getting ready for one of the more complicated nights of the year. Ring Of Honor Final Battle 2022 Preview, Predictions And Thoughts
It’s time to wrap up the Ring Of Honor year with its third event, as Final Battle closes us out. As you might expect, this is mainly going to be about AEW stars as Ring Of Honor is less a promotion than a really big and loosely connected angle on AEW TV at the moment. I’ve Seen That Before: Fans Accuse Sarah Logan Of Copying Independent Wrestler’s Look
They do look similar. The look is one of the most important concepts in all of wrestling. A wrestler needs to do something to catch your attention and looking a certain way is often near the top of the list. This could be in the form of a costume or something to make your face stand out and there are limitless possibilities. Now though, a WWE star is being accused of ripping off another look. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Sarah Logan made her return to WWE this week on SmackDown, along with the Viking Raiders. Logan laid out Zelina Vega and B Fab before posing with the team. She was also sporting a new look, which included having the top half of her face painted. Fans are now calling out Logan for copying the look of independent wrestler Max The Impaler, who uses a similar look. Logan has not yet commented on the accusations. That’s a long time. There are all kinds of injuries that can slow down a wrestler’s career. WATCH: Logan Paul’s Phone Video From Frog Splash To Roman Reigns (This Is AWESOME)
That’s just awesome. There are a lot of ways to film a wrestling match and some of the best involve making the fans feel like they are right there watching things live. It is difficult to figure out how to make it work that well, but every so often you get a special moment that is a lot closer than anything else. That was the case this week in one of the coolest shots you will ever see. The main event of WWE Crown Jewel 2022 saw Logan Paul unsuccessfully challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title. During the match, Paul laid Reigns on the announcers’ table and hit a frog splash to drive him through it. However, before he dove, Paul picked up a phone and filmed himself diving, with the clip having now been posted online. You don’t see this every day. WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE’s Plans For RKBro’s Reunion Have Changed
That would have been different. There are different ways to tell stories in wrestling and some of them can be quite effective. One of the most common stories that you will see is a betrayal of a friendship, where one wrestler turns on his partner and friend out of nowhere. WWE had plans to do that again on a big scale but now an injury has changed those plans in a big way. Back in May, Randy Orton was forced to take time away from WWE due to a serious back injury. During his absence, Orton’s partner Matt Riddle has continued to talk about Orton as well as using his signature moves. According to WrestleVotes during an interview with GiveMeSport, the original plan for Orton’s return would have seen him turn on Riddle the night he came back. However, due to Orton’s injury taking him out longer than expected, the plans, which were made when Vince McMahon still ran WWE, have changed. There is no word on when Orton is expected back in WWE. BREAKING: Brock Lesnar Returns To WWE And Finds A New Target
The big one is back. There are very few wrestlers who become attractions. Rather than being around full time and wrestling week in and week out, a select few names become such stars that they are able to appear every now and then for special moments. WWE has a few of them and one of them made a surprise return this week, with a fresh target seemingly in his sights. Brock Lesnar returned to WWE this week, appearing on Monday Night Raw. Lesnar interrupted an in-ring promo from United States Champion Bobby Lashley before laying Lashley out. While not yet announced, there is a strong chance that this will be used to set up a match between the two. Lashley and Lesnar previously met at this year’s Royal Rumble, where Lashley defeated Lesnar to win the WWE Title. Lesnar last appeared for WWE at Summerslam. Opinion: Lesnar vs. Lashley is one of those dream matches that hasn’t been run into the ground as of yet. It would absolutely not surprise me to see this as the co-main event of Crown Jew..

WATCH: The Bloodline Has A New Problem On Their Hands
They might have a new problem. The last year plus of WWE has been dominated by the Bloodline. The group has dominated almost anyone who has come in front of them and there are only a few names left who can come up against them. It means something for a star to face off of them and now another former champion seems ready to come after the all star team. Last week on SmackDown, Ricochet faced Solo Sikoa. Prior to the show, Ricochet gave an interview backstage where he talked about being sick of the Bloodline. Ricochet spoke about how he wanted to take out all of the teams, beginning with Sikoa that night. Sikoa defeated Ricochet in the match and it is not clear if Ricochet will continue to go after the Bloodline in the coming weeks. He had something to say. KB’s Review: Yeah Not A Fan
So I had started another column this week but it wasn’t something I could really get behind. Given that it was about a tag team comprised of Jimmy Wang Yang and Shannon Moore in late 2007, there was only so much that I was going to be able to get out of it. I needed something else to talk about and then I saw something that caught my eye, but not in the best of ways. Last week, a fan complained about AEW only having one women’s match/segment. Dave Meltzer responded, asking if they were going to watch the pay per view tonight. What pay per view you ask? Well that would be a Stardom pay per view from Japan, which the fellow commenters pointed out over and over. They also pointed out that apparently the original fan, who said he cared about women’s wrestling, wasn’t a real fan because he didn’t know about Stardom. NXT LVL Up Date: August 5, 2022 Location: Capitol Wrestling Center, Orlando, Florida Commentators: Sudu Shah, Nigel McGuinness The Road to Clash At The Castle is on and will have absolutely no bearing on this show whatsoever. I’ve again give up on trying to figure out what is going on with this show from one week to another and that means we are probably in for random matches this week. That works to an extent, but it can get a little tiresome after awhile. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Dante Chen/Guru Raaj vs. Bryson Montana/Damaris Griffin Raaj and Montana grapple a bit until Raaj hits a dropkick to stagger him. Chen comes in for a chop but Montana is back with a clothesline. Griffin hits a chokebomb into a neck crank as we talk about Rhea Ripley hurting Dominik Mysterio. With that broken up, the double tag brings in Chen and Montana with the former cleaning house. WATCH: Injured SmackDown Star Is Looking Great In Recovery
He’s getting there. Injuries are one of the few things that can slow down any wrestler no matter how hot they are. Someone can be just fine one day and then be out for months starting on the next, and that can be absolutely devastating for a wrestler’s career. That was the case earlier this year, and now we have a positive update on their long road to recovery. Earlier this year at WrestleMania 38, Rick Boogs suffered a torn quadricep muscle that would require surgery and put him on the shelf for several months. Boogs has posted a new video of himself lifting weights in the gym while standing. Crossover: WWE In Regular Talks With UFC Legend, Possible Plans For Him
It’s a good connection. Wrestling is in a weird place when it comes to being seen as a sport. While the wrestlers are absolutely athletes and people who are able to do some amazing things in the ring. At the same time though, there are always going to be people who do not see it as a real sport. It can be interesting to see what happens when athletes from more mainstream sports get into wrestling, and now a pretty big name is in talks with WWE. During a recent Twitter Spaces, former UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier spoke about his relationship with WWE. Cormier revealed that he regularly talks to people in WWE, including Triple H, and has been asked to work with the Creed Brothers in NXT. Cormier, who is friends with Julius Creed, is interested in working with them in some capacity but has never been able to make it work. There is no word on if Cormier will be able to work with WWE at some point in the future. Opinion: Cormier is someone who has always seemed interested in wre..
