Let Freedom Ring: WWE Is Allowing Its Wrestlers More Freedom In The Ring And In Promos

Welcome to the new age. WWE is changing a lot in recent weeks and that is likely going to be the case for a long time to come. With so many different things taking place, the company is starting to shift away from what they have been doing for so many years. Some of those changes are things that fans have been wanting to see for a good while and one of those changes is already taking place. According to PWInsider.com, WWE has been allowing wrestlers to have a bit more freedom in their promos, including allowing them to improvise more. This has allowed them to be more creative than they have had in recent years. The freedom is also taking place in the ring, such as with Sheamus vs. Drew McIntyre from last week’s SmackDown. The match was called in the ring rather than being laid out in advance, which is said to have helped make it great. There is no word on if everyone will be given the same freedom. Opinion: That is some of the best WWE news that you will hear for a long time. A big p..

WWE News: Why Reginald Won The 24/7 Title, Future Plans For Him

There’s a reason for that. The last week of WWE shows have been among the most eventful in recent memory as fans have returned to the arenas for the first time in about fifteen months. That is a long time to go without anyone in the arena and it is great to have them back. WWE has been trying to do some things to make the shows more interesting and now we know a bit more about why. This week on Monday Night Raw, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler split from Reginald, who immediately went on to win the 24/7 Title. According to PWInsider.com, WWE’s play is to present Reginald as a babyface going forward. The idea is that Reginald has a unique set of skills which could be used as a way to boost the 24/7 division. Reginald debuted on WWE television in December 2020 and has served as a valet for Jax, Baszler and Carmella. This could be a change of pace. WWE News: Retribution Has Their First Set Of Enemies

Meet the new team. Nearly two months ago, the group who would become known as Retribution debuted on Monday Night Raw and started causing a lot of problems for WWE. The team has changed a bit since then, now including their own logo and almost a theme song in the form of the lights going out throughout the arena. They have become a pretty big story on the show, but now someone has taken notice. One of the better stories over the course of the year on Monday Night Raw has been the rise of the Hurt Business. Led by MVP, the team has gone from formation to success in just a few short months, including Bobby Lashley winning the United States Title and Cedric Alexander turning on his friends to join the team last week. They are a rather powerful group and now they have some more enemies. This week on Monday Night Raw, the Hurt Business was interrupted by a Retribution interview. Later in the night, the Hurt Business offered to be the new security that dealt with Retribution, with WWE offi..

WWE News: New Title Match Set For Clash Of Champions

One more for the card. We are just over two weeks away from Clash Of Champions and a lot of the card has yet to be made official. WWE is starting to run out of time to set up a good number of matches as the company has a lot of titles that need to be defended in one night. Both roster will be having titles put on the line and now we have one more checked off the list. Save for a five day reign by Charlotte, Bayley has held the SmackDown Women’s Title for about sixteen months straight. That has left quite the path of destruction throughout the SmackDown women’s division as there are not many people left for her to face. Last week on SmackDown, Bayley destroyed Sasha Banks to put their showdown on hold. This week though, she gained a new challenger for her title. During this week’s SmackDown, Nikki Cross won a four way match to become the new #1 contender for the SmackDown Women’s Title and will face Bayley for the title at Clash Of Champions. The match also included Tamina, Lacey Evan..

WWE News: Finn Balor Wants To Form A Dream Team

Holy dream team! Tag team wrestling has rarely been WWE’s strong suit. Yes they had a great run back in the 1980s, but other than that and the period of Edge and Christian, the Hardys and the Dudley Boyz, there have not exactly been a lot of great times for WWE’s tag team divisions. They have a tendency to group big names together as bigger tag teams, which one wrestler is teasing doing again. While it has died down a bit in recent years, there was a time when the Bullet Club was the hottest group in professional wrestling. The team went from a group of wrestlers in New Japan Professional Wrestling to one of the biggest things around, to the point where they had quite a bit to do with the rise of AEW. Over the years, the stable has had quite a few members, but now two of them may be up for a WWE reunion. Finn Balor was recently interviewed by CBS Sports where he mentioned a potential tag team with AJ Styles. Balor spoke about his respect for AJ Styles but said that their scheduled ha..
