At WrestleMania 34 Cedric Alexander realized his dream after months of being on the hunt as he captured the WWE Cruiserweight Championship in a hard-fought battle against Mustafa Ali. Although Cedric would have liked to celebrate his championship victory, a threat to his title immediately arose in the form of "The Best Kept Secret" Buddy Murphy. Since Murphy's debut on 205 Live he has had to have this weight checked due to him barely being under the 205 weight limit.
