He’s still there. WWE has been changed in a variety of ways over the last several months and there is no idea on when things will settle back down. Not A Fan: Former WWE Star Says Shane McMahon’s Matches Hurt The Business

That’s not exactly praise. There have been all kinds of changes in the wrestling world this year but the biggest has been the change in regime in the WWE. After nearly forty years of Vince McMahon being in charge, there are new bosses at the helm, meaning the McMahons no longer have full authority. Now one former WWE star has something to say about a member of the family. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: The Miz Fights A Cactus (And Loses) During a recent edition of his Cafe de Rene podcast, former WWE star Rene Dupree spoke about Shane McMahon, talking about how Shane’s matches would hurt the business. Dupree said that Shane only knows how to do stunts instead of wrestle a match, resulting in his stunts making it harder for wrestlers to get a reaction. Shane has been gone from WWE since this year’s Royal Rumble in January, allegedly due to backstage disagreements over how he would be presented. Shane does do a lot of things in the ring. WWE Announces New Tournament With Special Prize To The Winner

Get your brackets ready. Tournaments are one of the easiest concepts to understand in wrestling. You take a bunch of wrestlers, put them together into a bracket, and have the winner get some kind of a prize. The reward could be just about anything, which is why they can be so commonly used. Now it seems that we are going to be getting another one for something. This week on SmackDown, WWE announced the beginning of the SmackDown World Cup next week. The eight person tournament will begin on the November 11 SmackDown with the winner receiving a future Intercontinental Title shot. There were no other details given, including the entrants or date of the final. WWE has previously presented a World Cup tournament, with the one night event taking place at Crown Jewel 2018 with Shane McMahon winning despite not being entered. Opinion: Sure why not. Tournaments are an idea that often work rather well in wrestling and that should be the case again here. WWE does know how to run tournaments an..

New Report On How Unhappy Vince McMahon Was With His Son Shane

Call it an in the air future? WWE, and the wrestling world, have been shaken up by the retirement of Vince McMahon. Despite what you might think of him, McMahon was the driving force in wrestling for a very long time and what he said or did could change the industry in an instant. That was the case on both the large and small scales, which seemed to be the case with a popular name. Shane McMahon returned to WWE back in January at the Royal Rumble and was one of the final entrants in the match. Reports at the time indicated that Shane had suggested that he be a focal point of the match, which resulted in him no longer appearing on WWE TV. According to a new report from Fightful Select, Vince said that after the Royal Rumble, Shane “would never get another pop in this company as long as I’m around”, suggesting that Vince would not allow Shane to return to television. It is not clear if Shane will return now that Vince is out of power. Opinion: I’m not sure how long this decree would ha..

Welcome Back? WWE Bringing In A Surprise Big Name For WrestleMania Weekend

He’s a big name. There are a lot of wrestling families but the most important name in the sport’s history might be McMahon. In modern times, there is no name that comes close to meaning as much, as the McMahon Family has run the most powerful wrestling company in the world. Seeing a McMahon doing almost anything is going to get some attention and that is the case again. According to PWInsider.com, WWE is bringing in Shane McMahon for WrestleMania weekend. There is no word on what McMahon will be doing, or if he is scheduled to appear on camera at any point. McMahon had been rumored for a match with Seth Rollins at WrestleMania and Rollins is currently scheduled to face a mystery opponent, though there is nothing to suggest that this will be the case. Should McMahon appear, it would be his first appearance since the Royal Rumble, as WWE sent him home due to backstage issues with how McMahon pushed to be used during the match. Opinion: I’m not sure if McMahon is going to appear, but ju..

Vince McMahon Was Pitched For A Major Role In A WWE Story

That would have been a big one. WWE has a lot of television time to fill every week and that means there are going to be a lot of stories taking place on any given night. Some of these are going to be a lot better than others, with a few of them being near disasters. That was the case with a story from a few years ago, but there was almost a twist that could have changed everything. Shane Thorne, formerly known as Slapjack in WWE, recently appeared on the Two Man Power Trip Of Wrestling podcast, where he discussed his time in Retribution. Thorne said that when the team was started, there was no word on who the team’s leader would be. The team pitched for various big names, from Edge to Shane McMahon and all the way up to Vince McMahon, as they wanted to be associated with a major character. Mustafa Ali was eventually revealed as the leader, though Thorne admitted that the team had already been beaten down by that point. Retribution was split up in March 2021. Opinion: This isn’t the ..

Here’s The Backstage Incident That Had Randy Orton On The Floor Laughing

Anything can happen in WWE. There are a lot of shows on the WWE calendar in any given year but there are some that stand out more than others. WWE has a series of signature shows that are bigger than the rest and as a result, they will have bigger stars around. While the shows can be planned out as well as possible, sometimes there are going to be some issues. That was the case with one of the most important ones this year. According to Fightful Select, there was a mishap backstage during the men’s Royal Rumble. Randy Orton was scheduled to enter the match at #28 but as he was ready to go through the curtain, Shane McMahon’s music played instead. McMahon went to the curtain to complain about the mistake but Orton burst into laughter and “fell to the floor” over the situation. McMahon entered at #28 and Orton composed himself before entering at #29. Both would be eliminated by Brock Lesnar, the match’s eventual winner. Opinion: This is one of those things that happens occasionally and..

WRESTLING RUMOR: WrestleMania 38 Card Shaken Up By Shane McMahon’s Departure

They need something new. We are less than two months away from WrestleMania 38 and that means things are starting to come together. That is in theory at least, as WWE has a tendency to change their plans at a fairly rapid pace. It seems that is the case this year, as WWE has changed up the show’s card all over again, which means that they need to come up with something new. Shortly after this year’s WWE Royal Rumble, WWE sent Shane McMahon home from the company over some issues with how he tried to produce the Royal Rumble match. According to the WrestleVotes Twitter account, McMahon was going to be in a match near the top of the card. As a result, WWE needs a new “major attraction” match, which is still to be determined. The card is said to still be “in complete flux”. Source states the spot Shane McMahon was going to have on the WrestleMania card was to be positioned near the top. Therefore, WWE now needs a new “major attraction” matchup outside of the titles. This goes w/o saying,..

More On What Led To Shane McMahon’s WWE Departure

It’s a little more complicated. There are a lot of people involved in putting WWE together and several of them have authority. Having so many people with the power to change a show can make things complicated. One person has to be in charge of the whole situation though and in WWE’s case, that is Vince McMahon. If he makes a decision, it is usually the final call, which is what led to an important situation this week. Earlier this week, news broke that Shane McMahon had been sent home from WWE following reports of issues involving how he put together the men’s Royal Rumble match last weekend. Shane had reportedly wanted to make the match about himself, but that was not how things went. According to PWInsider.com, Shane had been frustrated that several of his ideas had been shot down by Vince, and that he did not get to have the focus in the match that he wanted. There is no word on if or when Shane will return to WWE. Opinion: This is the kind of story that actually seems like a big ..

BREAKING WRESTLING RUMORS: Shane McMahon Gone From WWE

There goes a big one. We are fresh off of the Royal Rumble, where WWE presented a large portion of its roster in a pair of matches. That is the kind of thing that can remind you of some of the names who are around that you might have forgotten about. At the same time, there were some names you might have forgotten about making some appearances. Now though, one of them might be gone. According to Ringsidenews.com, Shane McMahon has been “quietly” let go from the company. This comes after McMahon was reportedly involved in the planning of the men’s Royal Rumble match, which he had wanted to be built around him. McMahon was described as a “nightmare” during the setup for the show. He was also rumored for a major match at WrestleMania, possibly against Seth Rollins, which is now off as well. Opinion: Well that’s a surprise, as it’s weird to see anyone with the name McMahon being punished for something in WWE. That being said, the Royal Rumble seems to have been rather poorly received and..

WWE May Be Planning An Interesting Shane McMahon WrestleMania Match

What could have been. We are about two months away from WrestleMania 38 and that means the card is going to start to take shape in the near future. Depending on your taste, that could be very good or very bad news, as WWE’s choices for the matches could be all over the place. There are some names you can almost guarantee seeing though, and now we know what WWE was thinking at one point. Last weekend, WWE presented the 2022 Royal Rumble, which featured the return of Shane McMahon in the show’s main event. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, McMahon was originally scheduled to be part of the upcoming Elimination Chamber event in Saudi Arabia, which would have set up a WrestleMania match with Seth Rollins. While neither are set to be involved in the Elimination Chamber match at the moment, there is still a chance that the Rollins match could take place. Opinion: I don’t know if this match is going to take place, but given that Rollins had been rumored for a spot in the WWE Title matc..

WRESTLING RUMORS: Major Backstage Heat On Shane McMahon

That wouldn’t get him very far. There are a lot of people who have to work together to make WWE run as smoothly as it can. That is not easy to do and a lot of what you see on television comes from the minds of the company’s producers. These people help put the show together, though some of them have different priorities. That was on display over the weekend and it did not go well. This weekend’s men’s Royal Rumble match featured the return of Shane McMahon, who entered the match at #28 and eliminated Kevin Owens before making the final three entrants. According to Ringsidenews.com, there is a significant amount of heat backstage on McMahon, who was the lead writer and producer for the match. McMahon was said to have insisted that the match be built around himself and being put over and was “fighting with people to do so.” Some wrestlers, including some who never complain, were said to be loudly complaining about how hard McMahon was pushed in the match. Opinion: This is something tha..

Full List Of Unannounced And Surprise Royal Rumble Entrants

Nice to see you. The Royal Rumble is one of the most unique events on the WWE calendar, as the company is able to put dozens of wrestlers into a pair of matches and set up some of their biggest shows of the year in Wrestlemania. Putting together two groups of thirty wrestlers can be quite the task though, and now we know everyone WWE had to bring in to help make things better. This weekend’s WWE Royal Rumble event featured the usual men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches. Most of the matches’ participants were announced in advance, with a few names being revealed during the matches themselves. Here are the unannounced names from both the men’s and women’s matches: Women Melina Cameron Ivory Alicia Fox Sarah Logan Molly Holly Ronda Rousey (Winner) Rousey was making her first appearance since WrestleMania 35 when she lost the Raw Women’s Title to Becky Lynch. WRESTLING RUMORS: Shane McMahon Returning To WWE TV, What Is Planned

He’s a big deal. There are some wrestling families whose names are going to get your attention no matter what they are doing. That is often a good thing and can help make stories that easier to tell. The name can give you an easy in to some kind of a storyline, as some of those names are going to offer instant interest no matter what they are doing. WWE is hoping that will be the case again as a major name is set for a return. According to Ringsidenews.com, Shane McMahon is set to participate in the men’s Royal Rumble match this coming weekend. While not confirmed, it is expected that this will set up an unspecified match for WrestleMania 38. This would be McMahon’s first match since he was defeated by Braun Strowman in a cage match at WrestleMania 37. WWE has not mentioned McMahon in any significant way in months. McMahon has wrestled for WWE on and off since 1999, often in high level angles and matches. He has won a handful of championships over the years, with his most recent titl..

Shane McMahon Has Gotten A New Job

That’s something new. Vince McMahon has a long history of success in wrestling, but things have not gone so well outside of the industry. McMahon has tried various other endeavors which had little or nothing to do with wrestling without much success. This includes the XFL, the other XFL, the World Bodybuilding Federation, WWE Studios and a minor league hockey team among others. It might be better for McMahon to stick to wrestling, but what about his son? Shane McMahon has been named the Executive Chairman of Ideanomics, a company involved in the electric vehicle and hydrogen fuel cell industry. Shane has been a part of the company since 2010 and is a former Vice Chairman. The company, formerly known as YOU On Demand, has begun to shift into a different industry with Shane being part of the change. There is nothing to suggest that this will impact Shane’s occasional WWE appearances. Shane does have certain other skills. Check out what he can do in wrestling: [This post contains video..
