RUMOR: Former WWE Champion May Return Before WrestleMania 39

This is only a rumor, so take it for what it’s worth. A former WWE champion, who has been injured for quite some time, may be returning to the ring before WrestleMania 39. In a response to a fan on his Facebook Stories, wrestling bootmaker Jose G Sanz stated that Randy Orton recently contacted him about making boots for his return to the ring. He said the following: “I haven’t made them yet but Randy Orton contacted me via email for his return. Currently, Drew McIntyre and Bray Wyatt are some of the biggest superstars. Today I received an order for boots for Cody for Wrestlemania.” On Facebook Stories, wrestling bootmaker Jose G Sanz was asked which wrestler has had the biggest impact on him out of those who order from him. His response: “I haven’t made them yet but Randy Orton contacted me via email for his return. REVIEW: No Way Out 2006: The Dream Match

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over ten years now and have reviewed over 5,000 shows. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Note that I rate using letters instead of stars and I don’t rate matches under three minutes as really, how good or bad can something that short be? No Way Out 2006 Date: February 19, 2006 Location: 1st Mariner Arena, Baltimore, Maryland Attendance: 11,000 Commentators: Michael Cole, Tazz For the first time in a long time, we have a pay per view that has my interest. Smackdown has gotten a lot better in a hurry, but they need the big spectacular to make it work. With Wrestlemania coming up, this could be a great way to get the momentum going, and hopefully that’s what happens here. I’m sure Undertaker vs. Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio vs. Randy Orton and Booker T. vs...

VIDEO: WWE Pays Tribute To 47 Year Old Star On 20th Anniversary Of His Debut

He’s earned it. There is a constant stream of new stars coming into WWE but there is no way of knowing who might be the next breakout star. Back in 2002, WWE had perhaps the most successful rookie class in its history, as several future World Champions joined the promotion in the same year. There was one who did not get the same recognition, though now things might be changing. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: WWE Officially Announces Special Match For Royal Rumble WWE has released a video celebrating the twentieth anniversary of Shelton’s Benjamin’s debut with the company. The video includes several wrestlers talking about Benjamin’s career and how well he has done over his time with the company. Benjamin was part of the rookie class of 2002 along with John Cena, Batista, Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton and trained with them in Ohio Valley Wrestling, debuting on December 26, 2002. This is something special. Check out the video, plus some of Benjamin’s better matches: [This post contains..

A Relief: Logan Paul Reveals Very Good News On His Knee Injury

That could be a lot worse. One of the worst things about an injury is wondering how long someone is going to be out of action. A wrestler can get banged up out of nowhere and need to go on the shelf for awhile, but the question becomes just how long. It can be great news when something is nowhere near as bad as it seems and thankfully that seems to be what is happening with a WWE star. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: RKNo: Another Bad Randy Orton Injury Update Earlier this month at WWE Crown Jewel, Logan Paul unsuccessfully challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Following his loss, Paul revealed that he had suffered multiple knee injuries during the match. Paul has released a video on his YouTube page, announcing that he has suffered a torn MCL and will need a minimum six weeks to heal. Paul also revealed that he will be undergoing physical therapy and did not mention needing surgery. There is no word on when he will be returning to the ring. Paul does have something to..

RKNo: Another Bad Randy Orton Injury Update

That’s rather serious. Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to a wrestler as you never know how bad something is going to be at first. Then comes the waiting, as you have nothing else to do but see just how long someone is going to be out of action. Sometimes that can be for a good while and in worse cases, it can be indefinite. Unfortunately an all time legend is dealing with the latter. Back in May, Randy Orton left WWE TV to deal with a back injury and has not been seen since. According to Fightful Select, Orton underwent some sort of back fusion surgery at some point this year. WWE sources have reportedly said that the company will be lucky to have Orton back after his recovery. However, when he was initially injured, Orton said that he would be back at some point. There is nothing in the way of a guess about when Orton could return to the ring. Orton is amazing when he is able to be in the ring. Check out what he can do when he is around: [This post contains vid..

What? More Details On Possible Steve Austin WWE Return, Potential Options

Those are some big ones. There are certain stars in wrestling history who have eclipsed almost any other name and are among the all time greats. There are not very many of these wrestlers and you know them when you see them. It means a lot when one of them is able to come back and do something, even for one night, and now there is some speculation about another appearance. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Viper Memories: Randy Orton Posts Tribute To Umaga And Rosey Over the last few weeks, there have been teases of Steve Austin returning to the ring for one more match, possibly at WrestleMania 39. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, some of the possibilities for Austin would be brawling with someone like (though not certainly) Baron Corbin or Austin Theory ala WrestleMania 38, or a dream match. Possible dream match opponents would be Brock Lesnar, John Cena or Logan Paul, though it is not clear if these are names WWE is considering. The entire situation is still said to be in the ..

Viper Memories: Randy Orton Posts Tribute To Umaga And Rosey

That’s a special tribute. There have been a lot of wrestlers to come and go throughout the years and unfortunately some of them are no longer here. That could be due to a variety of reasons but so many of them have left before they should have. Other wrestlers will remember them quite fondly and that is what Randy Orton is doing with a departed former WWE star. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: Bianca Belair Has Her Eye On Very Specific Film Role Earlier this week, a fan posted a photo to Twitter showing presumable himself posing with Randy Orton and Umaga. Orton responded, thanking the fan for posting the picture and saying we are coming up on the anniversary of Umaga’s passing. He called Umaga the “OG head of the table” and also mentioned Matty Anoa’i (Rosey). Orton also said “So many memories. Too many brothers lost”. Umaga passed away on December 4, 2009 at 36. I’m very happy you posted this pic. I’ll save it. Anniversary is coming up where we lost the Samoan Bulldozer. I wish I was..

Ouch? Randy Orton’s Wife Posts Photo Of Him From Hospital

That’s an update. There are very few wrestlers who have reached the level of Randy Orton. He has gone from what looked to be a can’t miss prospect to one of the most decorated stars in the history of WWE. Orton has won just about everything there is to win in wrestling and still wrestles at a high level. He has been out of action for a few months now though and we are getting a bit of an update. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: Top WWE Stars’ Salaries Revealed Randy Orton’s wife Kim has posted a photo to her Instagram showing herself and Randy in a hospital room, with Orton as a patient. The caption talks about the couple’s seven year anniversary, with the only mention of Randy’s health being “btw. The Usos Make Major WWE History

Down since Day One. Tonight on Smackdown, The Usos successfully defended their Undisputed Tag Team Championships against the New Day. In doing so, they ensured that they would be making WWE history. This coming Monday, November 14, will mark their 484th day as champions. This means that they will officially become the longest-reigning WWE Tag Team Champions of all time. Jimmy and Jey Uso have held the Smackdown Tag Team Championships since July 18, 2021, when they defeated Rey and Dominik Mysterio at the Money in the Bank premium live event. They would add the Raw Tag Team Championships on May 20 of this year, when they defeated Randy Orton and Matt Riddle (RK-Bro) on an episode of Smackdown. Editor’s Opinion: This is freaking awesome and also very expected. The Bloodline has been the best storyline in professional wrestling over the last several years, and the Usos have firmly established themselves as one of the greatest tag teams of all time. Who knows where this rain could stop..

REVIEW: No Way Out 2008: Double Shot

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over twelve years now and have reviewed over 6,000 shows. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE’s Plans For RKBro’s Reunion Have Changed

That would have been different. There are different ways to tell stories in wrestling and some of them can be quite effective. One of the most common stories that you will see is a betrayal of a friendship, where one wrestler turns on his partner and friend out of nowhere. WWE had plans to do that again on a big scale but now an injury has changed those plans in a big way. Back in May, Randy Orton was forced to take time away from WWE due to a serious back injury. During his absence, Orton’s partner Matt Riddle has continued to talk about Orton as well as using his signature moves. According to WrestleVotes during an interview with GiveMeSport, the original plan for Orton’s return would have seen him turn on Riddle the night he came back. However, due to Orton’s injury taking him out longer than expected, the plans, which were made when Vince McMahon still ran WWE, have changed. There is no word on when Orton is expected back in WWE. Opinion: This is an idea that I could absolutely s..

Top WWE Star Unsure If Randy Orton Is Returning To WWE

That’s a scary thought. Injuries are something that happen to everyone in wrestling at some point. No amount of experience or training can keep a wrestler completely safe and unfortunately the question becomes how long someone is going to be out of action. That is the case with a top WWE star and now the question has become will he ever return to the ring. Now we have another top star’s opinion. Randy Orton has not wrestled since May due to a severe back injury and there has been nothing to suggest that he will be returning to the ring anytime soon. WWE star Kofi Kingston appeared on the 10 Count podcast and said that he does not know if Orton will return to the ring. At the earliest, Orton is not expected to return before the end of the year, if at all. Opinion: That is a horrible statement to hear and hopefully Kingston is wrong and Orton is able to come back. Orton is already in his early 40s and has wrestled a long career, which can wear you down over the years. It would be great..
