It is unknown at this time. What exactly the issue is, and how long he will be away from WWE. Uh Oh? Bray Wyatt Misses Weekend MSG WWE Live Event, Not Around As Much Lately

That might be something. We are less than three weeks away from WrestleMania 39 and that means the biggest stars in the company are going to be on display in some of the show’s top stories. It would make sense to have them around as often as possible, but now one of the most well known names in WWE today seems to be missing in action, both from television and from a live event. LOOK: Liv Morgan Appears At New York Knicks Game, Gives Man The Cold Shoulder

She’s not having it. Wrestlers are celebrities in a unique way, as while they are certainly known to the public, they are rarely known for anything but their time in the ring. That does not offer them many options for getting their name out there otherwise, but it does happen occasionally. Now we are seeing it again as a WWE star had a moment that is likely to get her noticed. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Hi There: International Star Makes Official WWE Debut Liv Morgan was a guest at Tuesday’s New York Knicks game in Madison Square Garden to promote WWE’s upcoming live event in the same venue. During the night, Morgan was acknowledged as a guest of the team and presented with a customized Knicks jersey with her name on the back. Also during the night, Morgan was shown watching the game while a fan spoke to her, but she barely acknowledged anything he said. The Knicks’ Twitter account shared the clip, saying Morgan definitely did not hear a word of what was said to her. View this post on I..

The Thinking Behind It: Here Is WWE’s Reasoning Behind Taking Money In The Bank To London

The big time. We are in a new year and that means it is time to start doing new things in WWE. That can include all kinds of new concepts, or perhaps doing something in a different way. WWE has a lot of options open to it and some of those can be rather interesting. One such change has already been announced and now we know a good bit more about how the plan came into being. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: They’re Up? Former NXT Champions Make Main Roster Debuts Last week, WWE announced that it would be holding its annual Money In The Bank event this year at the 02 Arena in London, England, marking the first time the event has been held outside of North America. According to Fightful Select, WWE could have held the show in a stadium and sold it out, but they felt that the 02 is the “Madison Square Garden of England” and wanted to run the venue. In addition, running Money In The Bank in England makes the event feel like one of the biggest of the year. There have been some big ones. Check out ..

WATCH: Bray Wyatt Returns To Action At Madison Square Garden WWE Live Event

He’s back. There have been a lot of returns over the course of the year, with some huge names returning to WWE after lengthy absences. It can be quite the moment when one of these wrestlers comes back and we find out what is next for them. That was the case at Extreme Rules with Bray Wyatt, but he was still missing something a few months into his return. Now that has been solved. VIDEO: WWE Star Possibly Injured At Live Event, Helped From Ring

It can happen at any time. Wrestlers can get injured in any match on any night and there is no way to guarantee someone’s safety. That is the kind of thing that you never want to see unfortunately there are some matches that make getting injured even more possible than others. Unfortunately that seems to be the case again, as a wrestler had to be helped to the back after some issues. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Not So Much: WWE Reportedly Makes Change To Wellness Policy, Partially Due To AEW WWE presented a live event at Madison Square Garden this week, featuring a five way ladder match for the Intercontinental Title. Yes So Fast: Update On Drew McIntyre’s WWE Return Status

Welcome back. Injuries are a terrible thing to see in wrestling, as they can leave someone on the shelf for a long time to come. The only good thing about an injury is that most of the time, a wrestler is able to get back in the ring. That leads to a guessing game about when they will return, and now we know when one of the bigger WWE stars will be returning to the ring. IN CASE YOU’VE MISSED IT: He Did What? More On Huge Upset This Week On AEW Dynamite Drew McIntyre has been out of action over the last three weeks due to a ruptured eardrum, with the injury coming during Survivor Series: WarGames. There is no word on if McIntyre will wrestle before then. McIntyre is worth ..

Matt Cardona On Possible WWE Return: “Always Ready For Any Opportunity”

He’d take a call. There have been a lot of returns to WWE over the last few months and a lot of that has been credited to the new regime in charge of the company. As a result of Vince McMahon losing power in the company, some wrestlers who have left the company have been willing to consider a return. Now another company might be interested should the right offer come up. During a new interview with Metro, Matt Cardona, formerly known as Zack Ryder during his time in WWE, said that while he does not want to return to WWE, he would be willing to take a phone call. Cardona said that right now, he is focused on having the most fun and making the most money possible. However, he does want to wrestle in Madison Square Garden again and have another WrestleMania moment. In addition, Cardona issued a statement to Wrestling Inc., saying that he was busy with other projects but was “Alwayz Ready” for any opportunity. There is no word on WWE being interested in a Cardona return. Opinion: I don’t..

REVIEW: Royal Rumble 2008: The Shock Factor

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over twelve years now and have reviewed over 6,000 shows. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Note that I rate using letters instead of stars and I don’t rate matches under three minutes as really, how good or bad can something that short be? Royal Rumble 2008 Date: January 27, 2008 Location: Madison Square Garden, New York City New York Attendance: 20,798 Commentators: Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, Michael Cole Jonathan Coachman, Joey Styles, Tazz I believe this is my fifth time reviewing this show but I’m always curious to see how much different it feels having recently watched the TV leading up to it. The show has been set for a long time now and that means we need to get on with the pay per view already. Of course there is the Royal Rumble, but the Raw W..

REVIEW: Saturday Night’s Main Event #35: Make Me Buy That Show

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over twelve years now and have reviewed over 6,000 shows. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Saturday Night’s Main Event #35 Date: August 18, 2007 Location: Madison Square Garden, New York City, New York Attendance: 16,827 Commentators: Michael Cole, John Bradshaw Layfield, Jim Ross It’s time for the annual hour and a half long commercial for Summerslam which makes you want to watch the original run of this series again. That’s The Ticket! WWE Gets Some Good News About Monday Night Raw

Things are looking up. To say WWE is in a state of flux would be a huge understatement as there have been all kinds of changes taking place in the last few weeks. Those changes could have some very long term implications for the company and some individual people, but how positive they are remain to be seen. There is however some good news for WWE, at least in the short term. According to PWInsider.com, this week’s Monday Night Raw from Madison Square Garden was a sellout and had been for several days before the event. While there were tickets available on the secondary market, wrestlers and crew were told that there were no complimentary tickets available leading up to the day of the show. WWE has not run Madison Square Garden since a live event on March 5. Opinion: There was an old saying in WWE that amounted to as the Garden goes, so goes business. While it might not be the same as it was before, the Garden is still one of the most important places in all of wrestling, especially ..

Monday Night Raw Results – July 25, 2022

Monday Night Raw Date: July 25, 2022 Location: Madison Square Garden, New York City, New York Commentators: Jimmy Smith, Byron Saxton, Corey Graves We’re officially in an all new era as Vince McMahon is completely gone and HHH is now in charge of creative. That may sound very interesting on paper but I would give it another week before you see any major changes. There might be some surprises here and there this week though as it’s the go home show for Summerslam. Let’s get to it. We open with Miz and Logan Paul mid-brawl in the ring with referees having to break it up. With that out of the way, here is the Bloodline for a chat. Roman Reigns gets to the point by having the Garden acknowledge him before handing it off to Paul Heyman. After the mic goes out (Heyman: “We have a sound guy that must be from New Jersey or something. We want your name written down. You’re the next one out the door.”), we hear about everything Brock Lesnar has done over the years. Lesnar has ruined a lot of..

WATCH: AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens From Battleground 2017

He knows what it’s like to be a champion. WWE has posted a new video to their YouTube page, in which they show the full match between AJ Styles and Kevin Owens from Battleground 2017. It was here that Owens defeated Styles to become the United States Champion. You can see the match in its entirety below: [This post contains video, click to play] From WWE.com: Fittingly enough for a rivalry that has hinged on heartbreakers and shockers in equal measure, KO and Styles seemed to be one minute away from a full-on fistfight from the second the bell rang. Owens was particularly rabid, looking to avenge his honor after losing the title in a stunning upset to The Phenomenal One at a WWE Live Event in Madison Square Garden three weeks ago. The proud champion swooped on The New Face of America like a Georgia-born bird of prey. Owens employed a ground-and-pound strategy to counter, muscling Styles down to Chinlock City. Even when Styles rallied to hit some of his more breathtaking maneuver..

You Think You Know Him: Update On Edge’s Return To WWE TV

They have a plan. We are coming up on Summerslam and that means it is time to get ready for one of the biggest wrestling shows of the year. With just three major television shows left before the pay per view, WWE still has some work to do, as some matches need to be made. Some of them could include a variety of big stars, one of whom is expected to return next week. According to Fightful Select, Edge is expected to be at next week’s Monday Night Raw in Madison Square Garden, though it is not guaranteed that he will appear. Should he appear, it would be Edge’s first appearance since being attacked by Finn Balor and Damian Priest of the Judgment Day stable on June 6. There is no word on what Edge is expected to do whenever he does return to WWE TV. Opinion: This is one of those situations that isn’t really a surprise as Edge was going to come back and fight with Judgment Day no matter what happened. They had a story set up and there was no reason for the battle to not take place. Hopef..

Turn, Turn Turn: Update On Possible Upcoming WWE Heel Turn

That would be a way to go. WWE has a lot of television time to fill every week and that can mean seeing a lot of the same wrestlers on a regular basis. That might not be the best idea in a lot of cases as a wrestler can burn out their welcome in a hurry. In such a situation, some kind of a change is the best way to go. Now we might be getting ready for something like that again. Over the last few weeks, Judgment Day has been recruiting Dominik Mysterio to join their ranks. Mysterio has turned them down, instead deciding to stick with his father, Rey Mysterio, instead. However, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is a chance that a Dominik heel turn may be coming on the July 25 edition of Monday Night Raw from Madison Square Garden. The show is likely to be full of major angles and storylines, including Rey’s 20th anniversary in WWE, which could result in the turn. This is considered speculation at this point and is not set in stone. Opinion: This is something that h..

The Big Time: WWE Announces Stacked Main Event For Major Upcoming Show

They might need a new plan. WWE is getting into its busy season as Summerslam is less than three weeks away. That means things are starting to pick up and the question becomes what WWE has planned to draw in the fans in the busier season. This is easier said than done, but it seems that WWE does have something in mind, at least for one of its bigger non-pay per view events of the year. According to PWInsider.com, the new main event for the July 25 Monday Night Raw in Madison Square Garden will feature the Street Profits and Riddle teaming up to face the Bloodline in a six man tag. There is a strong chance that this will be a dark match. Reigns had previously been advertised for the event, though there was no word on what he would be doing. Opinion: This does sound like a dark match main event and that is not a bad idea. Having Reigns show up for an appearance on the go home Monday Night Raw for Summerslam makes sense as well and hopefully WWE has something good for him. Reigns is alr..

Update On Roman Reigns’ WWE Status, Possibly Around More Than Expected

See you sooner? There are a lot of wrestlers in WWE but some of them are bigger stars than others. You see a good number of them on a regular basis but some of the bigger stars are not around as often. That can make those moments feel all the more special and that is certainly the case with the biggest star in WWE today. Now you might be seeing him a little more frequently. One of the bigger WWE stories over the last few weeks has been Roman Reigns signing a new WWE contract which will allow him to only make appearances at major events and special shows. We now know that Reigns will be appearing at the July 22 SmackDown at the TD Garden in Boston and the July 26 Monday Night Raw in Madison Square Garden. There is no word on if Reigns will be appearing on camera or in a post show dark match. ? Interesting Note About Bloody Brock Lesnar/Roman Reigns Segment

It was more violent than it seemed. While it might be predetermined, wrestling can be a very physical and violent sport. Wrestlers are going to be hurt at some point in their careers and sometimes they are more serious than others. You can very clearly see some of these take place, and it seems to have been the case again earlier this month in a rather widely seem clip. Earlier this month, WWE ran an event at Madison Square Garden, which ended with WWE Champion Brock Lesnar defeating Austin Theory to retain the title. After the match, Roman Reigns and the Usos attacked Lesnar, leaving him blood to end the show. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Lesnar was intentionally busted open hard way with no blade used. The clip has also been a success, becoming the most viewed clip on WWE’s Instagram account with 5.44 million views. Lesnar vs. Reigns in a title unification match is scheduled to headline WrestleMania 38. It was an intense moment. Check out the huge brawl from Madi..
