WATCH: Mick Foley, With Lita, Sings “Sexy Kurt”

A knockoff of a parody? Theme music is one of the most important parts of a wrestler’s presentation. Hearing the right kind of music playing to signal a wrestler’s entrance is the right way to put people in the mood for what they are about to see. Getting it right is a very tricky thing to do but when it works, it works very well. Now we are seeing….oh you’ll just have to watch it for yourself. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: On Paper: What The Contract From Brock Lesnar And Bobby Lashley’s Signing Said Back in 1992, Shawn Michaels began using “Sexy Boy” as his theme music. The song, albeit with Michaels singing the vocals instead, has been his entrance song for over thirty years and still is for his sporadic appearances to this day. During Michaels’ 2005 feud with Kurt Angle, Angle performed his own version called “Sexy Kurt”. Angle has shared a video of Mick Foley, standing next to Lita, singing “Sexy Kurt” at an unidentified event. Foley sings the song along with some fans in front of a di..

I’m sure Undertaker vs. Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio vs. Randy Orton and Booker T. vs...

The New Generation: Former WWE Superstar Reveals Scrapped Plans For New League Of Nations

They had an idea. Stables are a concept that has worked in wrestling for decades and continues to do so to this day. It makes a lot of sense as well, as a stable allows several people with anywhere from identical to even somewhat related goals a chance to be on television together. WWE has used them for years, but there was one reincarnation that they passed on instead. What could have been. There are all kinds of wrestlers in the world today but very few reach the top level of stardom. Kurt Angle Reveals Weird Side Effect From Major Surgery

Call it a benefit? While there are parts of it that are a bit different, the athleticism required in professional wrestling is right there with mainstream sports. The wrestlers you see are working hard every time they are in the ring and unfortunately that means they are facing the same risks as everyone else. Now one legend has an interesting story about fixing one of his injuries. Earlier this year, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle underwent double knee replacement surgery. Angle spoke about the after effects of his surgery on the Kurt Angle Show, revealing that he is now taller after the operation. Angle’s knees were bent from damage and the replacements have made him stand up straighter while also having his legs extend. Prior to his surgery, Angle said he looked like “an old man walking”. Opinion: That’s one of the weirder situations you’ll see in wrestling but it is great to have Angle so much healthier than he was in before. It would be great to have him able to walk normally agai..

Kurt Angle Reveals Why WWE Legend Was Let Go

That would be a good reason. WWE has long since used a series of legends to boost up their modern roster. With so many current famous names throughout WWE’s history they have quite the selection to pick from. There have been some great successes over the years but sometimes these things just do not work out. It seems that was the situation with one of the biggest names in WWE history. During a recent edition of the Kurt Angle Show, Kurt Angle revealed that WWE Hall Of Famer Bob Backlund refused to put the Crippler Crossface on Chris Benoit because he wasn’t standing up. Soon after this, Backlund could not remember his lines during a backstage segment and asked to do it over, not realizing that it was being aired live. Angle believes that was the deciding factor and Backlund was gone from the company soon after. Opinion: If both of those stories are true, I can certainly understand why WWE would want to get rid of Backlund. Having one such issue would be enough of a problem but to hav..

Ouch: Wrestling Legend Details Horrible Effects From Neck Injuries

That’s pretty terrible. There are all kinds of ways to get hurt in wrestling and you never know when someone is going to get hurt. That is the kind of thing that can be rather terrifying, but part of what people don’t often think about are the long term effects. Some injuries are serious enough that they hurt people for a long time after they get out of the ring, and that is the case again with a wrestling legend. During a recent edition of his Kurt Angle Show, Kurt Angle discussed the long term health impacts of his neck injuries. Angle revealed that he cannot feel his pinkie fingers and that his motor skills have diminished. In addition, his arms have atrophied, making both of them about three inches shorter. Opinion: Angle is one of those cautionary tales that you hear about so often and yet it keeps getting worse. After all of the quick fix surgeries..
