He’s Good: Police Perform Wellness Check On Kevin Nash After Allusions To Suicide

That could have been horrible. There are all kinds of people in the wrestling industry but at the same time they all have to deal with the same kind of things that non-wrestling people do as well. Some of those things can be terrible and incredibly difficult to face, including all kinds of tragedies. That is the case with one wrestling legend and some of his comments scared his fans so much that police got involved. Earlier this week on his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash spoke about his son passing away twelve weeks ago. This included Nash talking about how “time flies when you got a gun in your mouth” and how he can do “whatever the f*** I wanna do. Long as I leave a note.” According to TMZ, this caused the Volusia County Sheriff’s office to do a wellness check on Nash. The office said that Nash seemed to be ok. Nash mentioned the situation on Twitter, saying that he was being sarcastic and using it as a coping mechanism. He also thanked fans for their worries. Nash had a heck of a c..

They’re In: Backstage Reaction To NXT Stars Working WWE Main Event

It’s something for them. There are a lot of wrestlers on the WWE roster and it can be difficult for the company to find something for all of them to do. One of the best things that WWE has done is split its roster into three different groups. This includes the NXT developmental roster, whose primary goal is to be promoted up to the main roster. Several of them have been getting a bit of a preview lately and it is going well. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: He Nailed It: Vince McMahon Refused To Let Kevin Nash Do Striptease Over the last several months, NXT stars have been appearing on WWE Main Event tapings. This has reportedly been done so WWE higher ups can see them in action outside of the NXT area. According to Fightful Select, WWE is happy with the buzz that the appearances have made, both for the wrestlers and NXT. There is no word on any NXT stars potentially moving up to the main roster. Some of these stars have potential. Check out some of the names who have been on Main Event: [Th..

He Nailed It: Vince McMahon Refused To Let Kevin Nash Do Striptease

That’s a different way to go. Wrestlers are very talented stars as they have to put in a lot of effort to get as far as they do in their careers. You can see when someone becomes a star in the ring, but many of them have other careers or interests as well. Now a WWE Hall of Famer is telling a story about how he was not allowed to pursue another career, at least in one instance. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: He’s In: Kevin Owens Reveals Current WWE Contract Status And Likely Future During a recent edition of his Kliq This, WWE Hall Of Famer Kevin Nash revealed that he had read for a role in the 1995 movie Striptease. Nash said that he “nailed it” and the producers were interested in using him, but Vince McMahon would not allow him to miss that much time. The role eventually went to Ving Rhames. Nash has dabbled in acting, both before and after his in-ring career ended. Nash is talented in multiple ways. Check out the clip (which includes some other interesting bits), plus some of his better..

“Don’t Tell Me You’re Tired, Shut The F*** Up”, Kevin Nash BLASTS CM Punk

Call it a generation gap? There have been all kinds of talented wrestlers in the world over the years but a lot of them have come from very different backgrounds. You can see all kinds of wrestlers with varying personalities and characteristics and some of them can not see eye to eye. That is the case with two names from different generations who seem to see things a bit differently. During a recent edition of his Kliq This podcast, former World Champion Kevin Nash talked about CM Punk’s recent comments at the AEW All Out media scrum. Nash took issue with Punk saying that he was tired and beat up. Nash mentioned that Punk is 42 years old and nine years ago mocked Nash, then 55, for still wrestling and having bad knees. Here are some of Nash’s comments, with transcription courtesy of Wrestlingnews.co: The dude didn’t wrestle for 10 fu**ing years. It’s like a ‘75 Eldorado with 102 miles on it. Motherfu**er, don’t tell me you’re tired. Shut the fu*k up. All you guys at AEW, you bunch of..

Kevin Nash Has A Great Idea For Randy Orton (It Involves Batman)

It’s an idea. Wrestlers have a weird connection with acting, as they often act in their roles as wrestlers but they are rarely seen as anything more than a wrestler in mainstream acting roles. That gives them a very niche role to fill but occasionally someone will break out with a different kind of appearance. One WWE legend has an idea about how another legend should be used. September 17 was the annual Batman Day, which prompted several discussions related to the franchise. WWE got involved by sending out a tweet asking which WWE Superstar should play Batman. Hall Of Famer Kevin Nash responded with Randy Orton, who has dabbled in acting over the years. Nash has also acted, including in the comic book movies Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 and The Punisher. Pick a WWE Superstar to play Batman.#BatmanDay — WWE (@WWE) September 17, 2022 @RandyOrton — Kevin Nash (@RealKevinNash) September 18, 2022 Opinion: This is one of those things that is little more than some fun and that is nev..

REVIEW: Bash At The Beach 2000: That Part Is Real

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over twelve years now and have reviewed over 6,000 shows. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Note that I rate using letters instead of stars and I don’t rate matches under three minutes as really, how good or bad can something that short be? Bash at the Beach 2000 Date: July 9, 2000 Location: Ocean Center, Daytona Beach, Florida Attendance: 6,572 Commentators: Tony Schiavone, Scott Hudson, Mark Madden Oh boy. After all those nice weeks of no Russo and/or Bischoff to screw things up, tonight we’re back to the old ways because this wrestling and storytelling stuff must be stopped at all costs. It’s a double main event of Goldberg vs. Kevin Nash for Scott Hall’s contract and Hulk Hogan challenging Jeff Jarrett for the World Title. Let’s get to it. Cat s..

Wrestlemania XVIII Date: March 17, 2002 Location: SkyDome, Toronto, Ontario, Canada Attendance: 68,237 Commentators: Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler The advertised main event here is Chris Jericho defending the WWF Title against HHH. I say advertised because there’s a match on the card that really is the main event. Back in February, the New World Order debuted in the WWF, meaning Kevin Nash (Diesel), Scott Hall (Razor Ramon) and Hulk Hogan himself made their returns. Hogan got right to the point as well, accepting a Wrest..

WATCH: nWo Invitational Battle Royal From WCW Road Wild 1998

Well, that happened. WWE has posted a new video to its YouTube channel in which they show the full nWo Invitational Battle Royal match from WCW Road Wild 1998. The match featured Goldberg, Scott Hall, Curt Hennig, The Giant, Scott Norton, Sting, Lex Luger, Kevin Nash, and Konnan. You can see the match in its entirety below: [This post contains video, click to play] From our own Thomas Hall: You can be eliminated either over the top or by pin/submission. Hall interrupts the ridiculously long entrances with the survey to keep this show going even longer. The NWO factions brawl while Goldberg hides in the corner. That lasts about fifteen seconds before Goldberg goes after Giant, which should have been a regular match tonight in the first place. Again that doesn’t last long and the match breaks down into a regular battle royal. Hall loads up the Outsiders’ Edge on Goldberg but gets backdropped out. Nash eliminates himself (you can’t make up jokes like this) and goes after Hall as Gol..

WWE’s Backstage Changes Causing Major Scheduling Shifts

The changes continue. WWE is of course a wrestling company, but wrestling itself is one of the many things that they do. In addition to the actual in-ring products, the company also produces a lot of shows about wrestling, many of which can be rather well done. That is a major perk of WWE, but it has been a bit tricky to find out when we can get to see them. Now it might be a little easier to understand. The latest edition of Broken Skull Sessions featuring Kevin Nash is back on the WWE Network/Peacock schedule and will air on Sunday. This comes after the special was moved, according to PWInsider.com, due to backstage changes in WWE. The new system has rewritten a lot of previously announced plans, which have changed the release schedule. Some specials such as the Lex Luger episode of WWE Icons has been postponed until a better lead-in program can be found, which the Nexus episode of Untold is on the shelf permanently, with no word on when or if it will be released. WWE has a lot of ..

VIDEO: Hollywood Steve Austin Is Ready For NWO Week

This kid has potential. There are very few names in the history of professional wrestling who can come close to Steve Austin. Despite having a relatively short main event run at the top of the company, Austin became one of the biggest stars in the history of professional wrestling. While he is a six time WWE World Champion, he is probably better known for his talking skills, and those were on display again. As part of NWO Week in WWE, Kevin Nash will be appearing on Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions. In an effort to promote the appearance, Austin has released a promo as Hollywood Steve Austin, including NWO style presentation and graphics. Austin also uses various NWO catchphrases from different members. The interview airs on Sunday on the WWE Network and on Peacock. Austin has hosted the Broken Skull Sessions since November 2019 with episodes airing every few months. This has replaced his Steve Austin Show podcast, which ended airing new episodes in 2019. During his career, Austi..

They’re worth another look. There have been some amazing moments in wrestling history but only some are still going to be remembered decades later. That is task to accomplish but when you find something that really hits that mark, you can absolutely feel it. Such a thing happened twenty five years ago this week and WWE is giving it a special look back all week long. WWE has announced NWO Week, which will begin on Monday July 5. The week will include new NWO programming on Peacock/WWE Network, including: The Best Of The NWO (Tuesday) X-Pac on The Bump (Wednesday) Kevin Nash on Broken Skull Sessions (Sunday) NWO week coincides with the debut of the NWO on July 7, 1996, when Hulk Hogan turned on WCW and became Hollywood Hogan at Bash At The Beach 1996. The group went on to dominate WCW for several years before moving on to WWE in 2002. The NWO was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2020. There is a lot of history here. Check out some of the NWO’s moments: [This..

REVIEW: Bad Blood 2003: The Cell Can’t Save You

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over ten years now and have reviewed over 5,000 shows. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Bad Blood 2003 Date: June 15, 2003 Location: Compaq Center, Houston, Texas Attendance: 10,000 Commentators: Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler It’s the first single brand pay per view and the question is can WWE manage to come up with ANYTHING better than what they’ve been doing on TV. They’ve basically punted on Kevin Nash as a main eventer, bringing in Mick Foley with the hopes that he and the Cell can save interest in the show. Let’s get to it. The opening video looks at the three top stories: the main event, Goldberg vs. Ch..

Video: Big Change Made To Sunday’s Universal Title Match

He knows his way around the place. We’re coming up on the annual Hell In A Cell pay per view, meaning it’s time for some people to walk into one of the most violent structures that wrestling has ever seen. The thing is though, the Cell can’t be exactly as violent as it once was due to the changes in the times. However, there is still a great history of the Cell and now those two eras are coming together. This week on Monday Night Raw, Mick Foley made his return to the company and announced that he will be guest refereeing Sunday’s Universal Championship match between champion Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman. Foley talked about wanting to make history with the Cell again and being granted the spot by Stephanie McMahon. This is Foley’s second time refereeing a Cell match, after guest refereeing Triple H vs. Kevin Nash at Bad Blood 2003. What did he have to say? [This post contains video, click to play] Opinion: I mean….sure? Foley is my all time favorite wrestler and I can never com..
