He wanted out. There are all kinds of different WWE programs every week and not all of them involve actual wrestling. The company regularly features a variety of shows recapping recent action or focusing on interviews with wrestlers. Those shows have their own regular hosts, but a former one is now recalling a time when he was desperately trying to get off his own show. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Try Him: AEW Reportedly Planning Push For Popular Star Bryan Danielson appeared on Renee Paquette’s The Sessions podcast and discussed their time hosting Talking Smack in WWE. Danielson revealed that during some of his time on the show, he was actively trying to get fired. Danielson cited frustrations with not being medically cleared to wrestle and not wanting to be brought in for television for just Talking Smack. In efforts to get fired, Danielson would regularly bring up James Ellsworth having a “huge hog” despite being told not to by management. Eventually Danielson was cleared to return to ..
Monday Night Raw Date: October 24, 2022 Location: Spectrum Center, Charlotte, North Carolina Commentators: Corey Graves, Kevin Patrick We are less than two weeks away from Crown Jewel and that means the card is going to need a little more build up. Two more matches were added last week and now we are probably going to get either some build towards those matches and/or even more matches added. That is what the show needs so let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Here is Judgment Day to get things going. Rhea Ripley says that last week, AJ Styles found out that Judgment Day runs Monday Night Raw and that Dominik Mysterio is all man. Damian Priest wants the people to rise for the greatest luchador of all time. Dominik says these are the only people who ever believed in him and says last week was proof that Eddie Guerrero was his generation’s Dominik Mysterio. Cue the OC to say Dominik is stupid because he’s more like the James Ellsworth of this generation. Karl Anderson is ready to face Fi..
He had a reason. There have been very few success stories in wrestling like that of Bryan Danielson. Just looking at him, there is little reason to believe that he would become a star. That is just what Danielson has done though, as he has become one of the most successful names in wrestling history. There were some darker times to his career though, and now he has revealed a rather interesting story. Danielson appeared on the Sessions podcast during Starrcast over the weekend and revealed that he was actively trying to get fired from WWE while appearing on Talking Smack. This would include various innuendos and jokes that he was told not to make, including about James Ellsworth’s anatomy. Danielson appeared on the show during his retirement from WWE due to a series of injuries which kept him from wrestling. Opinion: It’s a weird thing to say but I can get why Danielson was trying something like this. The situation he was in left him employed but not doing what he loved, which can ma..
That would have been something. There are a lot of titles in the wrestling world and some of them are rather prestigious. Some of those titles have been around for a very long time, with some of the better known championships being sanctioned by WWE. Winning a championship in WWE means something in the wrestling world, and it seems that a surprising name almost won the company’s signature title. During a recent interview on the Cheap Heat Productions podcast, former WWE star James Ellsworth said that there had been discussions of him winning the WWE Championship in 2016. Ellsworth did feud with WWE Champion AJ Styles during 2016, including defeating him twice with the help of Dean Ambrose. The feud saw Ellsworth receive two shots at the title, one of which resulted in a disqualification victory over Styles. Ellsworth did make it clear that he did not believe the plans were legitimate and that he should not have been champion. Opinion: I don’t think there was any serious consideration..
He managed to get out. Wrestling is a unique business as most wrestlers are not going to wrestle until the time when most people are ready to retire. A lot of the time they are going to get out of the business far earlier than most and that can make things a little bit strange for them down the line. Some of them get out when they want to though and that can make for some nice moments, such as what happened last week. A lot of wrestlers have come and gone over the years. Some of them might have had more success than others, but there are a lot of them who have made an impact in one way or another. Now some of these impacts might not have been the most positive, but at least they are remembered for something. One such wrestler got in the ring for the final time after a memorable career. On Friday night, Duane Gill, better known as Gillberg, wrestled his retirement match at an Adrenaline Championship Wrestling event in Glen Burnie, Maryland. James Ellsworth tweeted out that he wrestled..
Ever since James Ellsworth made his return to WWE, he has done his job of ensuring that Carmella has hung on to the Smackdown Live Women’s Championship belt. But how long will he be around? According to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Ellsworth is not under contract and is just being used on a per-date basis. In addition, since Since this comeback, he has only been working TV dates, but no house shows. This latest run has helped his independent bookings, as he is one of the few guys featured on WWE television that indie promoters can use. However, this might also mean they have no long-term plans for his role, because if they did, he would be signed to a deal. [This post contains video, click to play] Editor’s Opinion: Honestly, this news doesn’t surprise me. He will never be featured as a main performer, as his role is simply to be a comedy act. However, he is incredibly entertaining, and as long as Carmella is the champion, Ellsworth will be around, d..
Several notable Superstars from the wrestling world have come forward to call out two very sketchy wrestling promoters, according to Ringside News. This includes Jack Swagger, Chelsea Green, Zack Ryder and James Ellsworth. Multiple personalities from the wrestling world have begun to target the promoters behind BlackCat Events. This promotion reportedly booked several talents for a meet and greet over WrestleMania weekend in New Orleans but are now accused of not paying talents for the event as it was canceled. So what has BlackCat Events said? BlackCat Events have now made their Twitter account private, but they spent a good period of time tweeting in regards to this matter. To begin with, they tweeted that “the truth will come out soon.” This led to former Impact Wrestling star Chelsea Green to comment on the matter: LOL BRO! The truth came out. You’re a fraud and we’ve made sure the wrestling community knows that! Goodluck surviving in this industry. https://t.co/5YVZP9opEW — C..

Former IMPACT Knockouts Champion Chelsea Green and former WWE star James Ellsworth made it known that they were two of many who were booked but not paid by 'Blackcat Events'. The man behind the agency's Twitter account sent out the following message on April 17th which recently caught the attention of Chelsea Green who was not too pleased about the entire situation. The truth will come out soon. — Blackcat Events (@BlackCat_Events) April 17, 2018 LOL BRO! The truth came out. You’re a fraud and we’ve made sure the wrestling community knows that!
Taz opens today’s show speaking about last night’s episode of Smackdown Live.

He says that it was nice to see Carmella scale the ladder and claim the Money in the Bank briefcase on her own this time, but James Ellsworth found a way to get back into the building and got involved in the match again, even after being banned from the building by GM Daniel Bryan.

Taz thinks that Daniel Bryan and/or Shane McMahon need to do something to maintain their credibility moving forward, such as suspending Ellsworth for some amount of time. Bryan specifically ordered Ellsworth to stay out of the building and Ellsworth ignored him. Taz says that Bryan needs to show Ellsworth who’s boss.

He thought that Randy Orton cut a good, convincing promo last night and Mahal’s interruption was well done as well. He’s exciting to see the return of the Punjabi Prison match, but if he was WWE he wouldn’t have had Mahal talk nicely about The Great Khali. Taz says that Mahal should be a dirty, nasty heel who shouldn’t talk nicely about anyone.
