LOOK: Sasha Banks Back In The Ring Around The World

It could be a start back. There have been a lot of changes in WWE this year and some of them have been rather important. A few of them have involved wrestlers coming back to the company but there was one instance of two leaving, seemingly for good. Their situations have changed a bit in recent months, and now one of them might have taken another big step back towards wrestling. Back in May, Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out on WWE, vacating the Women’s Tag Team Titles in the process. Neither has appeared in WWE since, though their returns have been rumored in recent weeks. This week, LuchaLibre Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain posted a picture to its Facebook page showing Banks at their training facility. One of the comments said that she was at the facility training with the students. There is still no word on when or if Banks will return to WWE. WATCH: Mick Foley Reveals Extortion Attempt Against Him, Social Media Hacked

That’s a thing that can happen. Wrestling has changed a lot in recent years and those are not changed that can be reversed. One of the biggest changes has come through social media, as wrestlers are now more accessible than they ever have been before. That has several benefits but also several downsides, one of which was learned firsthand recently by a wrestling legend. Over the weekend, WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley announced via Facebook that his Twitter had been hacked, with the hacker attempting to extort money from him. As a result, Foley asked fans not to interact with his Twitter until he told them via video that the account was back under his control. Foley has since released a video announcing that he was able to regain control without having to pay the hacker. This is good to hear. Check out Foley’s announcement with some more details about what happened: [This post contains video, click to play] Opinion: This is something that unfortunately happens every now and then and ..

Get Well Soon: WWE Hall Of Famer Announces Upcoming Amputations

That’s never good to hear. A lot of wrestlers have stepped into the ring over the years and several of them have had quite the success. However, there are only a few who reach the very top levels and become legends. These are names that almost any wrestling fan knows and it can be sad to see them have health issues later in life. The surgery is the result an infection in his toes with the procedure taking place at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE May Have Spoiled Major Title Change

Can we get a warning next time? There is a lot going on at any given point in WWE and sometimes the company builds on the idea of wondering what they are going to do next. In theory, this is going to draw interest in what is going on and there can be some great drama as a result. WWE was trying to do that this week but they might have accidentally spoiled it in advance. The main event of this week’s SmackDown was a Tag Team Title unification match between the Usos and RKBro. The Usos would win the match to unify the titles, becoming the first sole WWE Tag Team Champions since 2016. However, WWE’s United Kingdom Facebook page may have accidentally spoiled the result. An image has appeared on Twitter, showing a since deleted post from the account with the Usos holding both sets of titles before SmackDown began. The post was since restored, though no such photo of RKBro was ever posted. WWE UK Facebook Page accidentally posted this and deleted it immediately. Oh Boyy ? pic.twitter.com..

Former WCW Announcer Trying To Keep Ric Flair From Returning To The Ring

I guess he isn’t a fan. There are all kinds of wrestling legends in the world but only a few of them are among the all time names. It is very rare to get to see someone still active into a sixth decade, but we might be seeing that later this year if a rumored match takes place. However, a former wrestling personality is not too thrilled at the idea of a legend getting back in the ring. Earlier this week, news broken that WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, 73 years old, was considering a return to the ring to wrestle a match later this year. Since the announcement, former WCW broadcaster Chris Cruise has contacted the Maryland State Athletic Commission, saying that due to his age and health issues, Flair should not be allowed to return to the ring. There is no word on a response from the Commission. Here are Cruise’s comments, from his Facebook: “Hey you rubes, I screw around here a lot, but this is serious: Ric Flair should not be allowed to wrestle. Some reports indicate he has been worki..

Ronda Rousey Has A Very Unique Injury Heading Into WrestleMania

That’s a unique one. Wrestlers can get hurt at any time and it can mess up some plans in a hurry. You never know how bad someone could get hurt or how long it might take for someone to get better. Some of those injuries are a lot worse than others and some of them are just flat out strange. That is the case again with one of the bigger stars in wrestling today. During a Facebook gaming live stream, Ronda Rousey revealed that she has torn her labial frenulum, a piece of skin that attaches the upper lip to the gums. As a result, Rousey has been feeling sick and her voice is not as it normally sounds. Rousey is expected to challenge Charlotte for the SmackDown Women’s Title on the first night of WrestleMania 38 on April 2 and there is nothing to suggest that the injury will cause any issues with the match. Opinion: There are some weird injuries in wrestling and this one is near the top of the list. I’m almost surprised that the thing had a name and that it could get hurt, let alone that..

WWE Hall Of Famer Suffers Nasty Injury

That isn’t good to hear. Wrestlers are larger than life characters who get your attention no matter what they are doing. That can make for some interesting moments, which is exactly what a promotion is hoping they can do. The more interesting these wrestlers are, the better the business is likely to do, but the people are still humans. That means they have problems, and that was the case again recently. According to Jerry Jarrett’s Facebook page by way of PWInsider.com, WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall has been hospitalized after breaking his hip in a fall. Jarrett said that he spoke to Hall, who informed him about the incident. Hall is currently scheduled to appear in Dallas for WrestleMania weekend as a guest at WrestleCon though it is not clear if that is still the case following his injury. Opinion: That is never good to hear and hopefully Hall makes as fast of a recovery as possible. It is a terrible situation and something that could take a good while for him to get better. Hall is..

WATCH: Hulk Hogan Roasted On Tonight Show Over Controversial Tweets

It didn’t go over well. There have been a lot of wrestlers over the years but there are very few who have reached the levels of Hulk Hogan. Over a rather lengthy career, Hogan became one of the biggest stars in the history of wrestling and changed the way the industry worked for years to come. Since his retirement, things have not gone so well for him though, and that was the case again this week. Over the weekend, Hogan suggested that the deaths of celebrities who have recently passed away, including Betty White, Bob Saget and Sidney Poitier, were all due to them having received the Coronavirus vaccine. Hogan’s comments were mentioned on the Tonight Show, with host Jimmy Fallon saying that the jokes made him the Heavyweight Champion of Facebook. Hogan has not yet responded to the joke. Wrestling has been a part of talk shows before. Check out the joke (with Hogan’s section beginning at 3:00) and some other wrestling talk show interactions: [This post contains video, click to play]..

MJF Takes Major Shot At WWE, NXT

He continues to be better than you. MJF has never been one to be afraid to say what he thinks and take shots at the people and places that he feels are beneath him. He recently did this, when commenting on a potentially major shake-up in WWE, NXT, and AEW. One of the major stories as of late has been the NXT contracts of both Johnny Gargano and Kyle O’Reilly expiring before the end of the year. MJF made his thoughts known on the subject matter, in a graphic posted to his Facebook page, which you can see below: In the post, MJF says that O’Reilly heading to AEW is a good thing and Gargano heading to RAW is a bad thing. From our own Thomas Hall: This week’s NXT featured O’Reilly being laid out by Von Wagner and Gargano being attacked after talking about how his future was unclear. A video and several photos have been released online, showing Gargano, O’Reilly, and NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa in the ring and around the arena after the show. MJF has never been afraid to speak his mind..

Longtime WWE Name And NXT Coach Released From WWE

Fare thee well. There are all kinds of stars in WWE, with some of them being bigger names than others. One of the more interesting things to see is how long some wrestlers last, as you might see someone unexpected slip underneath the radar. That can make for some surprises when you don’t realize just how long they have been around, which was the case with a name who is now gone with the company. Former WWE star and NXT coach Scotty 2 Hotty has requested and been granted his release from WWE. In a post on his Facebook page, Scotty said that he was leaving the company as he did not want to be doing something just for the paycheck. He also speaks about being thankful to WWE for allowing him to live his dreams for so long. Scotty has been an NXT coach since 2016. There is nothing to suggest any animosity between the two sides. Scotty had a heck of a career with WWE. Check out some of his time with the company: [This post contains video, click to play] [This post contains video, click ..

Great Health News On Two Wrestling Legends

That’s great to hear. Wrestlers are larger than life characters who are on our televisions almost every week, but there is another side to them that we rarely see. Aside from just their wrestling careers, they also have real lives outside of the ring and that can include having some problems. Two legends certainly did have some problems as of late, but things might be getting a bit better. There is some good news on the health statuses of two wrestling legends. First, Jim Duggan has been released from the hospital following emergency surgery earlier this week. There is no word on what was wrong with Duggan in the first place, but he has sent out a message on Instagram, saying that he is going home to full recuperate after two nights in the hospital. In addition, Brian Knobs of the Nasty Boys has posted a new message to Facebook, revealing that he has lost 60lbs while still in the hospital and continues to undergo rehabilitation. Knobs has been in the hospital since August with a vari..

WWE Hall Of Famer Undergoes Emergency Surgery

That does not sound good. Wrestlers are a unique group of people as they are regularly on television, where they portray larger than life characters. This can make for some unique situations as it can occasionally be hard to determine where the characters end and where the real people begin. Unfortunately those people have their own share of problems as well, which was the case again this week. Debra Duggan, the wife of wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Hacksaw Jim Duggan has posted a message to Facebook showing Jim in a hospital bed. The post reveals that Jim is undergoing emergency surgery, though there is no word on what is wrong with him. Duggan has a history of health problems, including heart issues as well as beating kidney cancer in the 1990s. Duggan is a legend. RUMOR: WWE Unhappy Over Legend’s Comments About AEW

Can you blame them? The wrestling world has been undergoing a lot of changes in recent months and those are likely to continue for a long time to come. AEW has made some great strides forward and WWE has not exactly been moving forward in many ways. That has gone noticed by some wrestling legends, though WWE is not exactly happy with one of them. Earlier this week, WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley posted a video to Facebook where he talked about how WWE needed to be worried about AEW. The video went viral and WWE seems to have taken notice of what Foley said. According to Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast, WWE is unhappy with what Foley said as there is an unspoken rule stating that WWE Legends are not to speak negatively about the company. Foley is currently under a WWE Legends contract and there is nothing to suggest that his status will change. Foley might know a thing or two about this. Check out his time in WWE: [This post contains video, click to play] [This post contains vid..

WATCH: Wrestling Legend Explains WWE’s AEW Problem

He’s right listening to. There are certain retired wrestlers who never quite get away from the industry. Many of them have something to say about the goings on in the wrestling world and some of them can be quite fascinating. They have the history and knowledge to offer some great takes and that is the case again, as a certain legend has some interesting thoughts on a popular wrestling topic. WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley released a video on Facebook which he called “WWE, We’ve Got A Problem.” In the video, Foley speaks on why he feels AEW is becoming a problem for WWE, which he believes is due to how WWE talent is treated. Foley talks about how WWE either changes too many things about developmental talent on their way to the main roster, such as with Karrion Kross, or just drops them entirely. He concludes by saying that if he was in the prime of his career, he is not sure if he would sign with WWE. This is quite the take. Check out the full video, plus Foley’s (full time) WWE debut ..
