High Praise: William Regal Makes Surprise Pick For “The One That Got Away”

That’s some high praise. There are wrestlers who have put together such a career and legacy that they are looked at as something of a sage. Anything they say is worth listening to and praise from them can mean quite a bit for anyone. It makes a difference if they give someone an endorsement and now one such legend is praising someone who might take you by surprise. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: They’re Ready: Backstage Details On Elite’s AEW Return During a recent edition of his Gentleman Villain podcast, AEW’s William Regal named former WWE star Damien Sandow as “the one that got away”. Regal said that Sandow reminded him of himself, in that he might not have been the top star in the company, but he was going to be able to make anything work. He also praised FCW for helping train Sandow, saying that FCW stars were polite, asked the right questions and were respectful, with Sandow having those qualities. Regal said that he believed Sandow would always have a job in wrestling at a high level..

Former WWE Developmental Star Charged With Assault That Led To Woman’s Death

That’s a lot more serious. Wrestlers are larger than life characters but they are very real life people when the camera is turned off. You are going to hear about wrestlers doing run of the mill things, which is not exactly something that draws the most interest. Every now and then though, you hear about something that is a lot more serious, which is the case in another situation. According to the Detroit News, former WWE developmental wrestler Kyle Garrett Rasmussen (known as Conrad Tanner in FCW) was arrested on charges of attempting to strangle a man last month. Rasmussen allegedly attempted to choke the driver of a moving car but the driver was able to stop the car and escape. Rasmussen’s girlfriend fled as well but was struck by another car and killed. As a result, Rasmussen is facing a charge of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder. Rasmussen wrestled for WWE from 2009-2010, when he was released. Opinion: That’s about as serious as it gets and that’s nev..

WWE Has A Weird Name Its Banned List (And It’s A Famous One)

Can’t say what? Wrestling has changed a lot in recent years, with all kinds of new wrestlers getting the chance to enter the wrestling business. A lot of that has come from various wrestling training schools popping up, some of which are more well put together than others. There are some rather famous wrestling schools out there, but one of the most famous is not being mentioned so often these days. Viktor, formerly part of the Ascension in WWE, was a guest on the Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling podcast. During his appearance, Viktor mentioned that he was not allowed to mention being trained in the Hart Family Dungeon when he arrived in FCW in 2011. It was not clear why Viktor was not allowed to reference the school, though he thought the Chris Benoit tragedy might have had a hand in the change. Viktor was not alone though, as William Regal was also told to not use the term. Natalya is still mentioned as the only woman to graduate from the Hart Family Dungeon. It’s a weird thing to b..

REVIEW: OVW Christmas Chaos 2001: Tomorrow’s Superstars Back Then

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over twelve years now and have reviewed over 6,000 shows. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Note that I rate using letters instead of stars and I don’t rate matches under three minutes as really, how good or bad can something that short be? OVW Christmas Chaos 2001 Date: January 31, 2001 Location: Louisville Gardens, Louisville, Kentucky Commentator: Jim Cornette Ah OVW, how much I love thee. This is from sometime around Christmas of 2001 which I’ll try to find an exact date for (future edit: got it). OVW was the official developmental organization for WWE for a very long time, just like FCW is now. They didn’t have PPVs but they had big shows where WWF guys would come down and this is one of them. The production value is very low here and the fact t..
