WATCH: Clip From Attitude Era WWF Live Event Featuring All-Star Lineup

It’s famous for a reason. There have been several different eras throughout the history of wrestling and some of those times are better known than others. Some of them are easily identifiable by a single word, with one of the most famous of WWE’s history being “Attitude”. The period of the late 1990s to early 2000s is still talked about today, but now we can see something we probably haven’t before. Kurt Angle Reveals Why WWE Legend Was Let Go

That would be a good reason. WWE has long since used a series of legends to boost up their modern roster. With so many current famous names throughout WWE’s history they have quite the selection to pick from. There have been some great successes over the years but sometimes these things just do not work out. It seems that was the situation with one of the biggest names in WWE history. During a recent edition of the Kurt Angle Show, Kurt Angle revealed that WWE Hall Of Famer Bob Backlund refused to put the Crippler Crossface on Chris Benoit because he wasn’t standing up. Soon after this, Backlund could not remember his lines during a backstage segment and asked to do it over, not realizing that it was being aired live. Angle believes that was the deciding factor and Backlund was gone from the company soon after. Opinion: If both of those stories are true, I can certainly understand why WWE would want to get rid of Backlund. Having one such issue would be enough of a problem but to hav..

WWE Has A Weird Name Its Banned List (And It’s A Famous One)

Can’t say what? Wrestling has changed a lot in recent years, with all kinds of new wrestlers getting the chance to enter the wrestling business. A lot of that has come from various wrestling training schools popping up, some of which are more well put together than others. There are some rather famous wrestling schools out there, but one of the most famous is not being mentioned so often these days. Viktor, formerly part of the Ascension in WWE, was a guest on the Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling podcast. During his appearance, Viktor mentioned that he was not allowed to mention being trained in the Hart Family Dungeon when he arrived in FCW in 2011. It was not clear why Viktor was not allowed to reference the school, though he thought the Chris Benoit tragedy might have had a hand in the change. Viktor was not alone though, as William Regal was also told to not use the term. Natalya is still mentioned as the only woman to graduate from the Hart Family Dungeon. It’s a weird thing to b..

Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Note that I rate using letters instead of stars and I don’t rate matches under three minutes as really, how good or bad can something that short be? Fully Loaded 2000 Date: July 23, 2000 Location: Reunion Arena, Dallas, Texas Attendance: 16,504 Commentators: Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler In addition to the main event title match with the Rock defending against Chris Benoit, we also have the Undertaker (now a biker) facing Kurt Angle and HHH vs. Chris Jericho in one of the earlier matches in a very long running feud. On top of that though there’s another match with a single moment that should receive a lot more attention than it does. Let’s get to it. The opening video ..
