Lesnar has a blend of amateur wrestling abilities, charisma and natural strength that may never be matched and WWE sees to know it. WWE has presented Lesnar as the ultimate monster and that means it is difficult to find opponents for him. Now though, they might have an idea. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE may be considering UFC Hall Of Famer Daniel Cormier as Lesnar’s next opponent. Cormier and Lesnar had a staredown in the UFC but never fought each other. A longtime wrestling fan, Cormier is set to be the guest referee for the Fight Pit match between Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle at Extreme Rules on October 8. Cain Velasquez Pleads Not Guilty to Attempted Murder Charge

It had been previously reported that former UFC heavyweight champion and WWE superstar Cain Velasquez had been arrested on charges of attempted murder. He pleaded not guilty to these charges in Santa Clara (California) County earlier today. From ESPN: Velasquez, 40, is being charged with attempted murder and 10 other gun-related charges stemming from an incident where he allegedly chased down a man, Harry Goularte — who is being charged with molesting a young relative of Velasquez — and shooting a gun into Goularte’s vehicle, hitting Goularte’s stepfather, Paul Bender. Velasquez has been in jail since Feb. 28 and has been denied bail on three separate occasions. A pre-trial hearing in the case is scheduled for Sept. 26, where Geragos is expecting to be able to get witnesses to testify, the attorney said. If the case is not dismissed at that point, he said, it would then go to trial, which could begin before the end of the year. Geragos said the prosecution will not be calling Goula..

According to a report from ESPN, former UFC heavyweight champion and WWE superstar Cain Velasquez has been arrested on charges of attempted murder. He is currently being held in Santa Clara (California) County jail, the San Jose Police Department announced Tuesday morning. From the report: The San Jose Police Department announced Monday evening that there was a shooting in the city near the intersection of Monterey Highway and Bailey Avenue. Police said one adult male was shot at least once and transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. This time around, someone who did not do so well the first time is trying again. During an appearance on In This Corner with Cyrus Fees, former UFC Heavyweight Champion and WWE star Cain Velasquez announced that he was returning to AAA in December. Velasquez said that he still loved both AAA and WWE but he needed to develop his skills to a higher level before he could wrestle for WWE again. There is no word on if WWE is interested in bringing him back in the future. Velasquez has only wrestled four matches in his career, with two each in AAA and WWE.
