Ryback Calls John Cena a “Poison” to Pro Wrestling, Cena – Alex Riley Incident

0

Recently on the latest edition of Conversations with the Big Guy, show host and former WWE Superstar ‘The Big Guy’ Ryback pulled no punches while discussing ‘The Face that Runs the Place’ John Cena and Ryback’s perceived impact Cena has had on pro wrestling. Ryback is not afraid to speak his mind that’s for sure. Below is a quote from Ryback during the show:

“[John Cena] comes from that mentality, ‘well, we’re going to push one guy down your f***ing throats.’
No, you push who the crowd is behind. [John] has been poison to the wrestling industry. And again, this is my opinion, but I think I’m pretty accurate on this…I think he’s done so much harm for so long to new talent to getting over, breaking out, over there [in WWE].”

‘The Big Guy’ went on to reveal that he has blocked Cena on social media, and he addressed the subject of Cena and Alex Riley’s issues in the past saying the following about Cena’s treatment of ‘A-Ry’ Alex Riley:

“John would sit back there and bury Riley in front of everybody for no reason and Alex Riley is f***ing money and he was money from day one. Busted his ass, had awesome theme music, worked his ass off, went out there and got a reaction from the people, but because of John Cena, and I swear to God, I swear to f***ing God, because of John Cena, his career is over in the WWE for no f***ing reason outside of John and his personal issues.”

WWE Officials concerned over Dean Ambrose being the IC Champion?

0
According to dailywrestlingnews.com, there were a few WWE backstage officials who were of the opinion that putting the Intercontinental Title on ”The Lunatic on the loose” Dean Ambrose would hurt him as a main event star.
Bringing Ambrose from the top card, where he was locked in a fued with ”The Phenomenal” A.J. Styles, to the upper mid-card was met by skepticism from some and seemed as a demotion of sorts for Ambrose.

On January 3rd edition of WWE Smackdown LIVE, Dean Ambrose pulled off a victory over ‘The A-Lister’ The Miz in the main event and captured the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

However, Vince McMahon, who made the call to put the Championship on Ambrose, has full confidence in him. He thinks that Ambrose can keep the IC title relevant in the same way as The Miz, who’s been pleasing the officials and fans with his stellar performances both in-ring and on the microphone.

After failing in an attempt to regain the WWE World Championship at WWE TLC PPV from A.J. Styles, Ambrose was booked to face The Miz on the following Tuesday on SmackDown LIVE for the Intercontinental Championship. However, he proved unsuccessful after ”The Chinless Sensation” James Ellsworth again interfered and ‘unintentionally’ cost him the match, allowing ”The A-Lister” to steal the victory.

After defeating Apollo Crews for the IC Title, The Miz ridiculed and left Renee Young red-faced in the post-match interview by talking about her real life relationship with Dean Ambrose which kickstarted a feud between Ambrose and Miz.
This week on WWE Smackdown Live, both Ambrose and Miz made their intentions clear to participate in the Rumble match at the Royal Rumble PPV in San Antonio, TX.

TNA News: Dixie Carter was sleeping with Kevin Nash?

0

The infamous commentator & pro wrestling personality “The Louisville Lip” Jim Cornette has claimed that Dixie Carter and Kevin Nash had slept together once. Here’s a quote from Cornette:

I will say that there were aspersions cast around that when she would be seen with certain people in the restaurant, or restaurant bar at the Double Tree after the events and they would be pouring the wine for her to tell her how great she was, but I couldn’t speak as intelligently as Scott Hall when it comes to that, because one of the aspersions that are being cast about that is a “very good friend” of his.

Kevin Nash was at TNA for a year after he debuted along-side Scott Hall in the fall of 2004. When Hall left in 2005, ”Big Kev” Kevin Nash was booked to face ”King of the Mountain” Jeff Jarrett for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship at TNA Bound for Glory PPV (2005) but backed out from the event due to chest issues. Shortly after, Nash left TNA and then returned in 2006 and remained with the company till 2011.

There have been reports going around that Dixie Carter had been involved with some of the guys in the TNA Locker Room.

There was also a rumor that Dixie Carter had released Kevin Nash from his contract to go back to WWE because if she didn’t, he was going to tell everyone about their “relationship.”

WWE News: Former WWE Star is A Week Or Two Away From Being Homeless, Asks Fans For Help

0

Former WWE, WCW and ECW star Perry Saturn three months ago announced on Twitter that he’s suffering from a Traumatic Brain Injury from the many concussions he’s suffered throughout his pro wrestling career.

Perry Saturn took to Facebook and asked fans to donate to a GoFundMe page as he’s just “a week or two” from being homeless.

This is the same campaign set up three months ago and as of this writing, they have raised $14,906 of a $100,000 goal.

Saturn has a GoFundMe page set up at this link.

Here is the Facebook Video Link:
https://www.facebook.com/perrysaturn/videos/1165305306918391/

The description of the GoFundMe reads as follows:-

”Perry Saturn is known the world over as one of the best sports entertainers of the 20th and 21st century. He’s been a part of ECW, WCW and the WWE.

That kind of entertainment over a 25 year career has taken a significant toll. Perry is dealing with a grade “serious” traumatic brain injury, which causes the following problems:

1) Almost constant headaches
2) Sensitivity to light
3) Brain fog – losing time, basically
4) Inability to drive or work
5) Dimentia

Perry is in a position to get good medical care, but he’s strapped financially. He can’t work and his wife Lisa is a full time caregiver, essentially. They live within driving distance of his care but they need money to pay living expenses, medical bills, and to arrange reliable transportation that can make it through the winter.

This seems like a lofty goal, we know – but keep in mind each MRI is $2,500, each test is $1,000 – the money flows fast and in the wrong direction.

These are wonderful people who have hit hard times. If you can help, please do. If Perry has entertained you, please give a little back.
Help spread the word!”

“Broken” Matt Hardy And Brother Nero to sign with WWE?

Delete Delete Delete !

These are the words that have echoed in uncountable wrestling arenas from the time Matt Hardy or Broken Matt made them famous. Now that Matt Hardy is in best part of his career as a second run in the world of pro wrestling, WWE must be looking to sign Broken Matt. As per the rumors going around, WWE is very much interested in signing Matt & Jeff Hardy both back to the company. Broken Matt and Brother Nero’s contract expires next month with TNA.

On Monday’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer weighed in on the possibility of Jeff and Matt Hardy returning to WWE, and what it’ll take to bring them back.

“For Matt, I don’t see him going to WWE. The odds are better now than they were a couple months ago, because he wouldn’t have gotten pushed [in WWE] as the old Matt Hardy. He would’ve just been there to job and he could make more money and keep his rep better and work his own schedule [in TNA]. Now you could make the argument that, with this gimmick, he could merchandise this gimmick and make a killing in WWE. The thing is, with TNA, he’s gonna have creative control of his thing, which he would not have in WWE.”

“And Jeff, I don’t know. Jeff may wanna stay with Matt and just do this gimmick as well. Jeff has no need to go [back to WWE]. They’re both making really good money, they both saved a lot of money. Jeff’s body is really beat up, and it’s a really hard schedule. I know there’s probably a thing in Jeff’s mind about going back there for one last run, and that last bit of exposure. It could happen. Jeff going back there with his body as beat up as it is… he’ll be a star there because he has a lot of charisma, more than most of the guys that are there. But I don’t see them putting him in the championship picture.”

What do you think will Jeff and Matt both will make their return to WWE or not, tell us in the comment section.

WWE News: Top WrestleMania 33 Match Reportedly Scrapped, Update on Other Matches

0

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, John Cena vs. Undertaker match that was planned for WrestleMania 33 has been scrapped due to Vince McMahon changing his mind about the idea.

It was said Vince changed his mind about what was originally one of the marquee matches for WrestleMania, but the plans for the event will become more clear after the Royal Rumble PPV. There has been plenty of rumors about Undertaker challenging for a World Championship at Mania, but there are no plans for him regarding this.

When The Phenom returned on WWE Smackdown Live at #SDLive900, the plan was to build to a match around Cena, but with him now appearing on RAW this past week in New Orleans, he’ll likely face someone on that roster. The tease of Braun Strowman being the opponent was seen on TV, but Strowman is not the opponent in mind at this time.

Currently,
– Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg,
– Triple H vs Seth Rollins and
– Big Show vs Shaquille O’Neal are the key matches, with

– Chris Jericho vs Kevin Owens, and
– Charlotte defending the RAW Women’s Championship at Wrestlemania 33 is the current plan, but the expected singles match against Bayley is not the match penciled in at the moment. The match proposed would see Charlotte defend in a Fatal-4-Way against Bayley, Nia Jax and Sasha Banks.
