Dang it Jeff. Last year at “Wrestlemania XXXIII”, the Hardys returned to WWE for the first time in nearly ten years. It was possibly the biggest moment of the night and since then, fans have been clamoring to see Jeff Hardy make a singles run. Now though, something has gotten in the way of that happening.

It’s still a great moment.

According to, Jeff was arrested for driving while impaired on Saturday night in Cameron County, North Carolina. There aren’t many specifics on what happened but Jeff has had his driver’s license suspended for thirty days and has a trial date of April 28. There is no word on what this may mean for his WWE status, though he is currently recovering from shoulder surgery.

Jeff might need to help his brother in a big match soon.

Opinion: I’m not sure what to say here. Jeff has a long history with legal issues and there’s no positive way to spin something like this. There’s a good chance that this is it for Jeff as he’s 40 years old, banged up and there’s no way of knowing how much juice he has left in him for a singles run. He might be back in WWE soon enough, but there’s no guarantee at this point.

Jeff was getting some singles chances before he got hurt.
