NXT LVL Up Results – February 24, 2023

February 25, 2023 • Admin

NXT LVL Up Date: February 24, 2023 Location: Capitol Wrestling Center, Orlando, Florida Commentators: Blake Howard, Byron Saxton It’s another LVL Up and again I’m not sure what to expect. The best formula around here seems to be having some midcard NXT stars in the main event and the younger stars filling in the rest of the show. That has worked well in the past, but you never know what direction the show is going to take. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Axiom vs. Kale Dixon Dixon works on the arm to start but Axiom reverses into an armbar of his own. A springboard kick to the side of the head drops Dixon but he’s right back with some clubbing forearms. They trade kicks to the ribs until Dixon gets two off a delayed vertical suplex. Axiom strikes his way out of a chinlock and there’s a high crossbody. The Golden Ratio finishes for Axiom at 4:35. Result: Axiom b. Kale Dixon – Golden Ratio (4:35) Myles Borne and Tank Ledger are different on paper but they can win together tonight..

Impact Wrestling Results – February 23, 2023

February 25, 2023 • Admin

Impact Wrestling Date: February 23, 2023 Location: Osceola Heritage Park, Orlando, Florida Commentators: Matthew Rehwoldt, Tom Hannifan It’s the go home show for No Surrender and the card is set up. There is one thing though that we need to cover, which involves who gets to talk first in a live edition of Busted Open Radio. Therefore, we have a Beat The Clock Challenge between Bully Ray and Tommy Dreamer. Let’s get to it. Opening recap. Motor City Machine Guns vs. Jonathan Gresham/Mike Bailey Non-title and Gresham takes Shelley down by the leg to start. Bailey comes in and kicks away at said leg, with Gresham and Bailey taking turns on it. Shelley manages to knock Bailey outside though and it’s the Guns taking over for a change. Back in and the limping Shelley strikes away at Bailey, who comes right back with the bouncing kicks to Sabin. Gresham and Sabin slug it out until Gresham does one of those stupid looking deals where he sends the Guns together and kicks Sabin, making him dr..

AEW Rampage Results – February 24, 2023

February 25, 2023 • Admin

Rampage Date: February 24, 2023 Location: Footprint Center, Phoenix, Arizona Commentators: Jim Ross, Chris Jericho, Excalibur, Tony Schiavone We’re still in the desert and Rampage is still searching for a more viable formula. I’m not sure why AEW seems to punt on this show so often but it does produce some enjoyable results. If you can get by without the star power after the first match, you should be in for a fun one and hopefully that is true this week. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Aussie Open vs. Young Bucks Kenny Omega is here with the Bucks. The Aussies deck the Bucks to start and isolate Matt for a kick to the chest and backsplash. Matt manages to backflip away from both of them and brings in Nick to walk the ropes into a wristdrag/headscissors combination. The Bucks clear the ring but the bigger Davis comes back in to slam them both at the same time. Nick’s pop up dropkick sends Davis to the floor though and Matt grabs a running flipping neckbreaker to send Fletcher int..

February 25, 2023 • Admin

In addition, Rey is going to be facing Karrion Kross again, because just beating Kross isn’t enough. Let’s get to it. Jimmy Uso arrives but hasn’t been able to get in touch with Jey. He has left Jey multiple messages, saying they can meet in the middle of the ring so Jey can get everything off his chest. Madcap Moss/Ricochet/Braun Strowman vs. Imperium Vinci and Moss start things off by running the ropes until Moss shoulders him down. February 25, 2023 • Admin

That’s a look. There are several aspects to a wrestler’s overall presentation and one of the biggest is how they appear. February 25, 2023 • Admin

It’s a little complicated. The rise of AEW has changed a lot of things in the wrestling world, as there is now another large scale wrestling promotion where stars can go. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Discusses Introducing New Star For Major NXT Angle The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has more details on WWE’s interest in signing Kenny Omega. While Omega signed a four year deal with AEW on February 1, 2019, there is a chance his deal was extended due to missing nine months with various injuries. If AEW adds on the full amount of time that Omega missed, he would not be able to begin negotiations with WWE, or any other promotion, until November. Omega and the Young Bucks are all represented by Barry Bloom and the feeling is they w..

On The Road: 53 Year Old Wrestling Legend Details Efforts To Return To The Ring

February 24, 2023 • Admin

That’s an amazing turnaround. You never want to see a wrestler get hurt as it can leave them out of the ring for a very long time. There are some incredibly serious injuries out there and some of them can take years away from a wrestler’s career. It can be quite the sight to see them get back in the ring and we might be on the way to seeing that with a wrestling legend. If those procedures go well, Bagwell could return to the ring after he recovers. Bagwell, 53 years old, has only wrestled four times since his injury, most recently in October 2023. On The Bad List: WWE Star Reveals She Is “Beat Up”, Possibly Out Of Action

February 24, 2023 • Admin

That could slow her down. Wrestling is a physical sport and there is always the chance that someone is going to get banged up in one way or another. At times those problems are going to cause someone to miss some time from the ring, or at least possibly need to. That is the situation again, and now a WWE Superstar is waiting to see what she is allowed to do this week. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: D’Oh! Local WWE Advertisement Seems To Spoil Major Angle Natalya participated in the women’s Elimination Chamber on Saturday night. She has since posted to Twitter, revealing that she is feeling “a little beat up” after the match but promised that she will be at SmackDown. On The Injured List: AEW Star Out 5-6 Weeks With Foot Injury, Possibly Longer

February 24, 2023 • Admin

It can happen to anyone. Injuries are one of the great equalizers in wrestling as any wrestler can get hurt and put on the shelf at any time. You never want to see someone get hurt and left out of the ring for any amount of time, as their time on the injured list could go on for awhile. Now another AEW star has revealed that he is hurt, but he has an idea of how long he will be out. Keep It Quick: How WWE Helped Cody Rhodes With Sami Zayn Fans On Monday Night Raw

February 24, 2023 • Admin

They had a plan for that. We are less than forty days away from WrestleMania 39 and WWE has set up the main event. Cody Rhodes is set to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title, but there is a bit of a wild card in the whole situation. That would be Sami Zayn, who has become one of the most popular stars in WWE. It seems that the company had a way to deal with the situation though and it was on display this week. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Bringing Back Classic Event This Year This week on Monday Night Raw, Rhodes came to the ring to discuss his match with Reigns but was almost immediately interrupted by Paul Heyman. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, this was done to prevent the fans from being able to chant for Zayn. WWE felt that if Zayn’s name dominated the segment, it would diminish Rhodes’ momentum. Reigns defeated Zayn in a title defense at Elimination Chamber. It was a smart moment. Check out the promo, plus Zayn and Rhodes in acti..

February 24, 2023 • Admin

That wraps it up. Wrestlers have a lot to deal with on a regular basis and that isn’t even taking into account things outside of the ring. In addition to wrestling, they often have to deal with the same kinds of problems that normal people have to face. Maybe? Pat McAfee Explains Uncertainty About WWE Future Following Company Sale

February 23, 2023 • Admin

Yeah that might shake things up. There have been a lot of changes to WWE in recent months but the biggest change of all is still in the works. By the end of the year, the company is likely to have been sold to a buyer still to be determined. That is going to shake things up in a huge way and the future is not clear. That is certainly the situation for one of the company’s higher profile names.
