They have all kinds of countries represented on their roster as well, with wrestlers of several nationalities up and down the card. That list has grown recently and now another international star has officially been seen on WWE television. Lee, who announced that he had signed with WWE in December, was listed under the Dragon Lee name. This is similar to how previous new signees debuted in the crowd before. While WWE and AEW get the most attention throughout the wrestling world, there are all kinds of wrestlers who work throughout the industry but rarely get the same amount of attention. Those wrestlers work incredibly hard to make a name for themselves without the same backing that comes with working for WWE. Now two of them have a problem with something WWE is doing. Dalishus said that the name has been copyrighted since 2006 and people in WWE know their names. WWE has replied to one of the letters and is looking into the matter. We saw a more serious one this week at the end of a television show, and now it could be going in a variety of directions. That’s one less. Stables have been a common factor in wrestling for a very long time now as they are a concept that makes sense. Having a stable allows for several wrestlers to be able to get television time at once, often through a shared goal or characteristic. Occasionally you will also see wrestlers who are thrown together with nothing else to do, and now we are seeing one such stable go their separate ways. This is the Roadblock special, because we need a special event less than a month before what is probably the biggest NXT event of the year. Since the NXT Champion is in a six man tag, the real main event is probably Shawn Michaels appearing on the Grayson Waller Effect. NXT has teased Michaels fighting Waller, so odds are we see who is doing it in Michaels’ place this week. Let’s get to it. We open with Tiffany’s Epiphanies, as Tiffany Stratton runs down the card and talks about how we got here. This was later revealed to be due to Rousey re-aggravating a previous injury. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Rousey and Baszler are still expected to challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania, but Rousey is not likely to be at 100% for the match. He’s back. The biggest wrestling story of the year has been the return of Vince McMahon to WWE, following a six month absence. McMahon is back to facilitate a sale of the company, though it has led to wonder about whether he will rejoin the creative team. While there is nothing to suggest that he has done it so far, McMahon did do something this week that he has not done since his return. As the Bloodline turns. The Bloodline Saga has dominated WWE for the better part of two years now but some cracks are starting to show. The team has been having one issue after another, often involving questions about the members’ loyalties to the group. After such issues, the Bloodline needs some wins, and that took place this week, with a major issue being resolved. Since then, Roman Reigns has tasked Jey’s brother Jimmy to get him back. Jimmy had until this Friday to get Jey back on the team. Jey returned in the main event of this week’s Monday Night Raw, where he distracted Jimmy so Zayn could win the match. WWE Announces King and Queen of the Ring 2023 Event

WWE has issued the following press release, announcing the 2023 King and Queen of the Ring event: The General Entertainment Authority, in cooperation with WWE, has announced that WWE King and Queen Of The Ring will be held at the Jeddah Superdome, the world’s largest pillarless Superdome, on Saturday, May 27, 2023. WWE King and Queen Of The Ring is happening in Jeddah, alongside a host of additional exciting events happening in Jeddah throughout the year. This marks the first King Of The Ring Premium Live Event to be held since 2015 and the first crowning of a Queen since the inaugural Queen’s Crown Tournament which took place at WWE Crown Jewel in Riyadh in 2021. The show will again be held over two nights and there are even more matches that need to be set up. Sometimes you will see a bunch of matches being set up at the same time, which was the case this week, as multiple matches were set up on the same night. There were three new WrestleMania 39 matches set up this week on Monday Night Raw. First up, Logan Paul and Seth Rollins had a showdown, where Paul said that he would face Rollins on a bigger stage. WrestleMania host the Miz agreed to get the match made and it was set later in the show. Second, Austin Theory interrupted John Cena and challenged him to a US Title match at WrestleMania. After insulting Theory, Cena accepted the challenge. This match has been teased since Cena and Theory met backstage last June. It will be Cena’s first singles match since Summerslam 2021.
