In the gorilla position area With Will Ospreay, Jon Moxley, Kenny Omega & MJF
He then sends us to a digital exclusive from backstage at AEW Forbidden Door. Renee Paquette approaches a bloody Will Ospreay, with Alex Windsor, fresh after his Owen Hart Cup win. He sees Jon Moxley and asks for a minute. Mox tells him he doesn’t give these out often, and offers him a full spot in The Death Riders.
Mox walks off, and to add further context, ospreay sees Kenny Omega. Omega looks at what Mox gave him and doesn’t seem thrilled. Ospreay cuts him off and says Omega is not his dad. He tells him that he can see how he’s looking at it and just because he’s given up on himself, doesn’t mean Ospreay has, too.
Omega goes to take exception to that, still before he can say anything, out from a door pops MJF with his AEW World Belt. He mocks them for their “cute lovers quarrel.” Omega tells him he’s so funny, but he’s got a gold defense against Mark Briscoe in just a couple of days.
He says if he gets past that, he’s already got someone knocking on his door. MJF smirks, leans past Omega disrespectfully, and says to Ospreay, “I’ll see you at Wembley, BRUV!” He walks off. He says he’s proud of him and walks off. Omega tells Ospreay he loves him and their friendship is bigger than any Death Rider drama. Additionally, ospreay looks at Mox’s Death Rider gift as the intense scene ends there.
AEW World ChampionshipMJF (c) vs. Mark Briscoe
Inside the stadium we return live, where we hear, “Reach for the sky, boy!” Out comes Redneck Kung Fu’s highest-ranking black belt, Mark Briscoe, for his big title opportunity in our first contest of the evening. MJF makes his way out next and we’re about to get our high stakes opener started.
MJF kicks Briscoe in the midsection and applies a side-headlock. Briscoe sends him off the ropes and delivers a spine-buster before stomping him down in the corner. Briscoe sends MJF across, though MJF leapfrogs and tweaks his knee. Briscoe goes after it.
On the other hand, MJF counters with a quick piledriver for a two count. MJF rips the bandage off of Briscoe’s head and busts him open before delivering a back-body drop. MJF delivers another back-body drop and goes for another toss, but Briscoe lands on his feet and delivers palm strikes.
Briscoe follows with a corner clothesline and an exploder suplex before dropping MJF with a Death Valley Driver. Briscoe goes up top, on the flip side MJF hits the ropes and climbs as well. Briscoe delivers right hands and bites MJF’s head before delivering a headbutt.
Briscoe connects with the Froggy Bow and goes for the cover, still MJF kicks out at two. But MJF wrenches Briscoe’s arm and slams him to the mat, briscoe sets up for the Jay Driller. Meanwhile, briscoe comes back with an elbow shot and sends MJF to the floor. Briscoe drops MJF down with a cannonball through the ropes.
He then tosses a chair into the ring. And then he grabs a table, briscoes launches off the chair to drop MJF on the outside again. Briscoe slams MJF into the ring steps and puts him on the table. Briscoe goes for the Froggy Bow, although MJF cuts him off and throws him onto the apron
MJF puts the table back down and sends it back under the ring. On that note, the show shifts gears and settles into a mid-encounter commercial break as the action continues. When the show returns, we see this crown tilt still in progress, with the attendees energy picking up.
They exchange rights in the ring, and then Briscoe clotheslines MJF to the floor. Interestingly enough, briscoe rips the padding off the floor and sets up for the Jay Driller, on the flip side MJF counters with another back-body drop. MJF goes for a piledriver, but Briscoe counters and delivers a scoop slam.
And then delivers a Cutthroat Driver back in the ring for a two count, briscoe delivers an elbow drop from the apron. Briscoe delivers a headbutt on the outside and drags the table back out. Briscoe sets the table up and goes after MJF, though MJF drop-toe holds him into a chair.
MJF charges at Briscoe, yet Briscoe cuts him off with a throat jab and follows with a neck-breaker from the barricade. Briscoe delivers an uppercut to get MJF on the table, and then delivers the Froggy Bow from the top. Along those lines, briscoe gets MJF back into the ring and goes for the cover, but MJF gets his boot on the rope.
MJF comes back with an eye poke, on the flip side Briscoe delivers an elbow strike. MJF connects with a series of strikes and kicks, but Briscoe delivers his own and they are both down. Meanwhile, briscoe connects with another shot and follows up with the Jay Driller, but MJF kicks out at two.
Briscoe goes for an avalanche Jay Driller, yet MJF gouges his eyes to get free. MJF goes for the Heatseeker, but Briscoe shoves him away. MJF connects with the Heatseeker for the pin to retain his title. Furthermore, they exchange roll-ups for two counts, and then MJF delivers a wheelbarrow drop.

Because he has beaten Omega twice and kicked out of the One Winged Angel like the situation was nothing, mJF says it is laughable that Omega thinks he deserves a title clash. MJF says Omega can have a match with him next week, though only if Omega agrees to a stipulation. If MJF wins, Omega never gets to challenge for the AEW title again.

Allin says Knight kicked off this, and asks how he is going to finish it. Knight says he is tired ot dealing with Allin and is about to give him a belt match, though Callis says no. As an added layer to this, but he almost killed Knight with his stunt at Forbidden Door, callis says Allin has been a impressive wrestler and reigning champion.
Callis says Allin is a criminal, and the Family doesn’t reward criminal behavior so Allin will never get a title match as long as he has something to say about it. Kenny Omega’s Response To Risky Challenge It’s main pay-per-view (segment) time!
In the back, we see Kenny Omega pacing as he is about to give his response to the risky challenge issued earlier in the evening. On that note, we head into another commercial break. The broadcast returns and the commentators run down the lineups for Collision and the week ahead’s Dynamite: Beach Break.
Inside the stadium, Kenny Omega’s music hits as we cut behind the scenes to see him on his way to the stage. Before he comes out, he is cut off by Will Ospreay, who asks him if he’s sure about taking this encounter on with this risky gimmick.
Omega, not liking the doubt he senses, says that much like Ospreay after he broke his neck, what he is standing on now is his Death Ground, and he needs to know that he has Ospreay’s support. Ospreay says he always does, while omega marches on and makes his way out to the stage.
“The Cleaner” gets a mic and takes in the chants of his most fresh name. Believe it or not, he’s done this for 30 years, more than half of his life. You always got 100% of Omega, whether he was a 14-year-long-time boy or a 42-year-old broken down man. In a connected development, there is no greater passion for him to step through these ropes and put on a event for the wrestling community.
And he has held titles, he broke records which may never be broken again, on the flip side it’s never enough. It sounds selfish, but if he has enough exited in the tank, if Ospreay believes, if the Bucks believe, and if the audience believe (ONE MORE TIME chants), then I know I can be a Titleholder that you can be proud of.
He can stand on the biggest stage and proudly represent AEW as the Defending champion. And all Kenny has to do is put it all on the line to fan favorite Max. And the answer is no. Cody did it, Hangman did it, but Kenny wonders if the cost is too high. You want me to put it all on the line, Max?
If I lose this time around, you will never see me in another crown clash, and boy, that will make you happy, wouldn’t it, Max? However what you haven’t considered is that Kenny is still the Cleaner, the Best Bout Machine, and the God of Professional Wrestling.
And he can’t help it, on the flip side the opportunity to defeated the breaks off of Max while he is still healthy gets the blood flowing. Bring the BBB, because it will be coming over to me — so, Max, the answer is YES! Complete with the kissy-face, omega then does his corny closing catchphrase.
MJF ends up attacking Omega from behind. He loads up the Dynamite Diamond Ring, despite this Omega takes him down with a double leg. Which security and officials rush to break up, the two have a wild brawl. MJF taunts Omega with his championship as the presentation goes off the air. Thanks for joining us!
