That’s a long time. There are all kinds of ways for a wrestler to be injured and you never want to see someone put on the shelf for any length of time. Some injuries can take place all at once while others are the kind of that build up over time. Both have to be taken care of though and now we know a bit more about a WWE star who had to go under the knife earlier this year. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: International Star Announces He Is WWE Bound Back in October, Tommaso Ciampa revealed that he had undergone surgery to repair his hip, which has since been mentioned on WWE TV. According to Fightful Select, the hip had been bothering Ciampa for the better part of a year before he underwent the surgery. There is still no word on when Ciampa will be returning to the ring. Following the match, Lee announced that he had signed with WWE, with no word of what will happen to the titles. WWE later sent out a tweet announcing that Lee would be starting with NXT in January.
