”The Phenomenal” A.J. Styles recently had an interview with IndianExpress.com in which he discussed the man he wants to face next in the WWE. Styles in reply, said the following:-

“There are many whom I am yet to compete with,” Styles said. “There are some RAW guys but one person I would like to lay my hands on is Randy Orton.”

As far as a visit to India is concerned Styles said it would be a great chance for him as he along with the WWE would love to put up a great show.

A.J. Styles made his pro wrestling debut in 1998, while ”The Apex Predator” Randy Orton made his debut in 2000. Despite the longevity of their careers, they’ve never been pitted against one another in an one-on-one encounter ever due to obvious reasons. Also, they’ve never competed against one another in tag team competition either.

The sole time which we can recall, they were seen in the same frame on WWE TV was on the WWE Survivor Series 2016 pay-per-view as part of ”Team SmackDown Live” against Team Raw.

With both Orton and Styles being on WWE Smackdown Live Roster, the feud will happen sooner or later. Some speculate that Orton will win the WWE Championship at WrestleMania, and the first feud post WrestleMania would be with none other than A.J. Styles, who would look to capture the WWE Championship for the second time.
