Two more on the list? There have been all kinds of wrestlers returning to WWE in recent months and those returns might continue taking place for a little while to come. Several names are interested in working for the new regime and there are some who are in contact with WWE. Now it seems the company is at least interested in having two more former names return.

New reports are suggesting that a pair of former champions are either on their way back to WWE or at least on the company’s radar. According to, WWE is interested in possibly bringing back Matt Cardona, formerly known as Zack Ryder. There is no word on if Ryder is interested in returning to the company. Second, also according to, a member of WWE’s creative teams “would bet” that Bronson Reed, also known as Jonah, will be back before other WWE stars. Reed is a former NXT North American Champion, was released in 2021 but it is not clear if he is interested in returning either.

These two have been around. Check out the two of them in action in WWE:

Opinion: Either or both of these names returning to WWE would make sense, though Cardona would seem to be a bit more of a stretch. At the end of the day, he is doing well outside of WWE and it would be hard to imagine him being back. Reed on the other hand never got a chance on the main roster and has the skills to make something like that work. Both are possibilities and that makes for an interesting wait.

What do you think of the possible returns? Will either, both or neither return? Let us know in the comments below.
