It can happen to anyone. Injuries are some of the worst things that can happen to any wrestler at any given time. You never know when someone is going to be put on the shelf, or at least slowed down, and that can cut off even the hottest momentum. Unfortunately that might be the case again with one of the most popular stars in AEW, who happens to have a major match coming up.

According to Fightful Select, reigning AEW Tag Team Champion Anthony Bowens may have suffered an arm injury this week on Dynamite. Bowens had his arm worked over during the match against Swerve Strickland and had it checked on after the match. The injury is NOT confirmed at this point though and the Acclaimed’s Tag Team Title defense is still scheduled for Full Gear.

Bowens is pretty awesome. Check out what the Acclaimed can do:

Opinion: Hopefully this isn’t anything serious and is just part of the story from the match. Bowens and the Acclaimed are on a total roll right now and it would be a shame to have things slowed down by an injury. He is one of the most charismatic stars in the company and an injury is one of the only things that could possibly slow them down right now, so hopefully that isn’t what is going on.

What do you think of Bowens? How long will the Acclaimed be the Tag Team Champions? Let us know in the comments below.
