They have his attention. AEW has come into its own in recent years, offering wrestlers a new high level home outside of WWE. After decades of WWE dominating the wrestling landscape, there is a secondary option around. That does not mean everyone is going to want to stay there though, and now one of the biggest names in AEW might be signaling that it is time for a change.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: SmackDown Star Reportedly Injured, #1 Contenders Match Possibly Impacted

Over the last year, AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman has talked about “The Bidding War Of 2024”, when he will be a free agent, available to sign with WWE or re-sign with AEW. Opinion: This is the definition of “I’ll believe it when I see it”. Friedman seems like someone who would love to mess with everyone’s expectations before having a big moment where he returns to AEW. There is always the chance, but I would be surprised if Friedman leaves AEW when his contract is up. Either way, one company is going to have a very talented star and that could make for some great moments.

Where do you think Friedman will sign? Where do you want him to sign? Let us know in the comments below.
