That’s a They’re On It: Update On WWE Planning Major International Showchange. The biggest wrestling story of the year so far has been Vince McMahon ending his retirement after about five months to return to WWE. That is still something that remains unclear, but we now know how things went at one of the most important shows of the year.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: They’re On It: Update On WWE Planning Major International Show

According to Fightful Select, McMahon was not backstage at the Royal Rumble, which was described as the least hectic the event has been in years. This was mainly due to McMahon not being there to make several last minute changes as he was known to do. WWE executives have insisted that McMahon is not working with creative or in talent relations and his sole purpose at the moment is working on the sale of the company.

It was a good Rumble. Check out the show:

Opinion: Maybe it’s a false sense of security or maybe it is slowly becoming the new reality, but McMahon still seems to be living up to his word but staying away from everything that takes place on WWE TV. That is the kind of thing that takes away a lot of the tension of McMahon coming back and if it stays that way, we could be in for a great time. At the end of the day though, there is always the chance that McMahon is going to be popping back in and there is very little way to escape that.
