I would say he has earned it. WWE has been around for a very long time now and there have been some very talented stars to come through that curtain. Some of them are far more memorable than others, but there are some legends who have stood the test of time. Those are the names that WWE likes to celebrate and that is what they are going to be doing in the near future.

WWE has announced that they will be celebrating Kane’s 25th anniversary in the company. Kane debuted on October 5, 1997 at Bad Blood during the Hell In A Cell match between Shawn Michaels and Undertaker. WWE will be celebrating the milestone with special editions of Top 10 and WWE Playlist, looking at some of the best moments of Kane’s career. While Kane debuted in 1997, Glenn Jacobs had been wrestling for WWE for several years before becoming Kane.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that WWE has been doing over and over as of late and one of the biggest reasons is that they had a lot of great things from back in the late 90s. Nostalgia is a very fun concept and doing something like this once in awhile is a smart way to go. Kane is certainly a legend and someone who can be brought out for a special, one off moment.
