Several health issues can continue, including some that might happen to anyone at any time. Controversial WWE Star Discussed For Possible Royal Rumble Return Earlier this month, it was announced that WWE Hall Of Famer Superstar Billy Graham had been hospitalized due to an infection, which had caused his heart to start. Graham was brought back and has improved in the time since. On Wednesday, Graham’s wife announced that Graham will soon be moved to a skilled nursing facility for rehab and physical therapy. That’s a big upgrade. Wrestlers have rather physical jobs and there is almost no way to prevent some kind of wear and tear on their bodies over the years. At the same time, there are other things that can make their health situations worse after they leave the ring. This gets worse as they get up there in years, but this time we are seeing some better news after a string of bad. In a new update, Valerie has announced that Billy is no longer in the ICU as his heart rate and blood pressure are strong enough to be moved to the PCU (progressive care unit). On top of that, there are also issues that have nothing to do with the ring. Now a legend is going through one of the latter problems, but things seem to be looking up a bit. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: It’s That Time: Several Names Possible For WWE Royal Rumble As announced by his wife on Facebook, WWE Hall Of Famer Superstar Billy Graham, 79, had an infection in his ears that spread to the bones in his ears. As a result, Graham “coded” and had to be brought back to life. This required Graham to have a breathing tube installed, but according to Graham’s wife, Graham is breathing on his own again and the tube could be removed this week. That’s never good to hear. A lot of wrestlers have stepped into the ring over the years and several of them have had quite the success. However, there are only a few who reach the very top levels and become legends. These are names that almost any wrestling fan knows and it can be sad to see them have health issues later in life. Unfortunately that is the case again, and now it is fairly serious. WWE Hall Of Famer Superstar Billy Graham has announced on Facebook that he will be undergoing surgery that will result in the amputation of some of his toes. The surgery is the result an infection in his toes with the procedure taking place at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. That’s a nice thing to do. Wrestlers are in a weird place when it comes to celebrity status, as while they are known for being on television every week, they are still wrestlers at the end of the day. While that does not leave them with a lot of mainstream appeal, there are still several people who are huge fans. Now one wrestler is appealing to some of those fans for help with a good cause. Monday Night Raw’s Finn Balor is auctioning off some ring worn gear to benefit the Essex & Hertfordshire Air Ambulance. Up for auction is a shin guard and knee pad, both signed, along with a signed Topps trading card, plus another lot featuring the same items along with a pair of ring work trunks. WATCH: WrestleMania 38 Rematch Takes Place After Monday Night Raw

There is more to it than that. WWE presents a lot of wrestling content every week, including three hours every Monday night with Monday Night Raw. That means you are going to see a lot of wrestlers on any given show, with some of them often appearing more than once. This was the case this week, as two stars got to do even more after the show was over. The main event of this week’s Monday Night Raw was a Champions Contenders match between Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair and Asuka. Belair won when Becky Lynch interfered, followed by Lynch attacking Asuka to end the show. The post show dark match saw Belair defeat Lynch to retain her title with the KOD. Belair defeated Lynch to win the title in the same way at WrestleMania 38. Former WWE Referee Mickie Jay Passes Away At Age 58

We have some sad news to report today as former WWE referee Mickie Jay Henson has passed away at the age of 59 due to complications from pneumonia, related to COVID-19. From WWE.com: Henson officiated his first match in 1987 at the Eddie Graham Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. He then joined WCW in 1992 and went on to referee in some of the promotion’s most memorable matches, including the ending of Goldberg’s historic undefeated streak at the hands of Kevin Nash at Starrcade 1998. Signing with WWE in 2005, Henson then brought his officiating expertise to more incredible bouts for years to come featuring the likes of John Cena, Kurt Angle, The Undertaker, Edge, and many more. WWE Legend Announces Surprise Return To The Company

Stick around. WWE has been in business for a very long time now and there have been so many people coming through the ropes at one point or another. A lot of them don’t make much of an impact but there are some who feel like they have been around forever. WWE likes to take care of some of those wrestlers and that seems to be the case again with one of its all time legends. Former WWE Champion and WWE Hall of Famer Superstar Billy Graham has announced that he has signed a new five year “nostalgia contract” with WWE. There were no details released, though WWE usually signs wrestlers such as Graham to Legends contracts, which may be what Graham means. Graham thanked Vince McMahon for the opportunity and says he hopes it will be profitable for both sides. Graham is certainly a legend. That doesn’t sound good. Wrestlers are larger than life characters and that is what makes them successful. The more over the top they can be the better, as that is what makes people stop and take notice. You don’t see someone who can make the charisma and in-ring work go well at the same time, but now one of the best ever is having some serious health issues. According to PWInsider.com, WWE Hall of Famer Superstar Billy Graham has been hospitalized due to an irregular heartbeat, heart failure and fluid in his lungs. Graham is currently undergoing treatment to have the fluid removed, but there is a fear about his kidneys not reacting well to the medication. Graham, 78 years old, is a former WWE Champion, having won the title in 1977. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2004. You might not have seen Graham before.
