While appearing on Sam Roberts’ podcast, Seth Rollins revealed why the phrase “Burn It Down” was added to his current theme song.

Rollins explained that he was approached by Vince McMahon several weeks back and was told that he didn’t like the silent pause during the beginning of his entrance music. Rollins mentioned that he was surprised by this because he has had the song over three years and McMahon is now not liking it.

Prior to adding the “Burn It Down” intro, Rollins listed to several clips that were inserted into the pause in the song. The phrase “King Slayer” along with different sound effects were tested but “Burn It Down” ended up being the best option, so they decided to go with it.
