It can happen to anyone. There are all kinds of ways for an injury to take place in wrestling and that can make for some rather scary moments. You never know how long someone is going to be out of action or how nasty the injury could be, leaving people wondering just how bad things are. That seemed to be the case this week on Monday Night Raw and now we could be dealing with the fallout.

One of the interesting stories from last weekend’s Elimination Chamber pay per view event saw Riddle win the United States Title from Bobby Lashley in a triple threat match, also involving John Morrison. Riddle pinned Morrison to become the new champion, which according to WWE logic meant that Riddle would face Morrison the next night in a non-title match. Things did not work out so well.

According to Wrestling Observer Live, Morrison may have suffered an injury during a dive in his match against Riddle. Morrison landed on Riddle during the dive but his knee landed on the floor. He was seen limping later in the show, though it is not clear how bad the injury is. Morrison was able to finish the match and there is no word on if he will be missing any ring time.

Hopefully this isn’t too bad. Check out Morrison’s most recent in-ring efforts:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that could slow Morrison down but at the same time he could be fine enough to just stand around doing his comedy stuff for the next few weeks. Morrison being able to complete the match is certainly a good sign and maybe all he needs is a little time to heal. I’m not sure what this is going to mean for his future, but Morrison is a rather valuable person to have around.
