Alexa Bliss is one of the most marketable stars that WWE has under contract, which often means a crazy schedule that keeps her away from home for significant stretches of time. Anyone with pets will tell you how hard it is to leave them for an extended period of time.

The five-time WWE Women’s Champion just went more than 20 days being home. RingSideNews followed the story of her day on social media. The story goes that she went home for a “visit” and could only stay for about 8 hours. However, her dogs were so happy to see her after basically three weeks away that Alexa Bliss suffered a bloody lip in all the excitement.

Get home – dogs are so excited that they split my lip… fantastic

It’s not anything that will keep her out of the ring, but we’ve all gotten a happy scratch or love bite from our pets, especially after some time apart. It’s just a testament to Alexa Bliss and the other performers who aren’t home for weeks on end. That’s a tough life.

Alexa Bliss has seen her fair share of success and is regarded by her peers and fans as one of the most talented performers in the industry. She’s been a five-time Women’s Champion, a three-time WWE Tag Team Champion and is actually the second Women’s Triple Crown Winner in WWE history.

It was her acting and character work during her run with The Fiend that made her a fan favorite. Although the angle kinda ended and lost momentum at the end, it’s remembered fondly. There have already been signs of Bray Wyatt hinting at a future angle with Alexa Bliss on WWE programming.

She’s in a tag team with Asuka right now, who have been trading the Tag Team Titles with Io Sky and Dakota Kai for the past couple of months. It’s good work and something else will come up creatively down the line. In the meantime, we hope she gets more time at home than 8 hours this week.
