That’s a long time. There have been a lot of changes behind the scenes in WWE and some of them could cause a lot of issues for a long time to come. This includes some of the bigger names taking their leave from the company, either long term or short term. Now it seems that perhaps the biggest change might be going on a lot longer than it originally looked to be.

Earlier this year, Stephanie McMahon took a leave of absence from WWE and it is not clear when or if she will be returning. Since then, various stories have come out about McMahon’s departure, including stories of her not being successful at her executive job. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the chances of McMahon returning to WWE have greatly diminished following the statements about her. There is always the chance that she could return down the line, but it was ultimately McMahon’s decision to leave and would likely be her decision to return.

Opinion: This is one of the more interesting stories in recent WWE history as anyone named McMahon is going to be a bigger deal than almost anyone else. The idea of having one McMahon working in WWE is hard to fathom but that is the situation we are in at the moment. Maybe this settles down, but I have no idea how this is going to play out and it is fascinating in a lot of ways.

What do you think of the situation? Will McMahon return to the company soon? Let us know in the comments below.
