That’s some praise. We are less than three weeks away from WrestleMania 39, but we are also more than two and a half years into Roman Reigns’ run as Universal Champion. One legend now has his pick for who should take the title from Reigns.

Cody Rhodes won the men’s Royal Rumble match back in January, guaranteeing him a shot at the Undisputed WWE Universal Title at WrestleMania 39. In an interview with Ariel Helwani on BT Sports, Undertaker said that someone has to stop Reigns, saying it has to be someone WWE trusts to not “flake off and do something”. Undertaker went on to call Rhodes the “logical guy” while also naming Sami Zayn as a dark horse. Reigns vs. Rhodes for the title is set for Night Two of WrestleMania 39 on April 2.

Opinion: I don’t think there is any real reason to believe that Rhodes isn’t at least a serious threat to Reigns at WrestleMania. However, when you can add in sound bytes or quotes from someone like Undertaker, it is only going to make his case that much stronger. Rhodes is going to get the hero’s reception at WrestleMania and if they can pull it off, it might be something very special.
