What’s Hawkins’ Doing in GFW?
The first of Global Force Wrestling’s four Amped anthology series will air this Friday, August 11th, and to promote the pay-per-view special, GFW premiered a preview featuring another current WWE superstar. RAW’s Curt Hawkins, under his real name Brian Myers, appeared in a new GFW: Amped preview where he speaks about his professional wrestling history and he goals in GFW. As Top Rope Press reported last month, GFW had also promoted their Amped special featuring another WWE superstar in the form of NXT Champion Bobby Roode.
The upcoming Amped series were filmed in 2015, but the shows never aired on television. Since GFW merged with Impact Wrestling, the unaired episodes will now debut under the One Night Only umbrella. Hawkins and Roode are not the only familiar WWE figures in the Amped series. RAW’s Mickie James, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, and SmackDown’s The Singh Brothers were also involved in the 2015 tapings.
Emma Continues to Banter Angle
For the last few weeks, RAW superstar Emma has been provoking RAW General Manager Kurt Angle about giving her opportunities. He did give her an in-ring match against Nia Jax and lost. Despite the loss, she has utilized Twitter to use #GiveEmmaAChance and continued to allude she will date his on-screen son Jason Jordan.

According to Angle, Emma’s tweets aren’t giving her any favors.
